Chapel Cross Guest House

Stayed at Chapel Cross Guesthouse for a couple of nights while exploring the area and it was exactly what we needed – simple, comfortable and right in the middle of Roslin. The room was spotless and had everything we needed – comfy bed, decent shower, and a nice view over the village. Nothing fancy, but really well looked after and felt welcoming the moment we walked in. It’s clear the owners take pride in keeping it just right. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. Rosslyn Chapel is literally a few minutes’ walk away, and you’re right across from Dolly’s Tea Room (which is a must for cakes and a cuppa) and The Original Rosslyn Inn if you fancy a pint or a bite to eat. Check-in was easy, and even though it’s more of a self-contained setup, we still felt really looked after. It’s peaceful too – great for getting a good night’s sleep after wandering the Glen or chasing myths and legends at the chapel. Would definitely stay again – perfect wee base for a proper Roslin visit.
