Arkleside Guest House

We've just had a three day break and stayed at the guesthouse.   The room was lovely and had great views.  The bed was very comfortable and we both slept very well.
The guest house is very well kept and very clean.   The breakfasts are delicious and tasty and we really enjoyed our stay.
Terry and Hannah are both lovely people and made it very welcoming for us.
We'll definitely be visiting again in the future.

This was our third visit to Arkleside Country Guest House and it didn’t disappoint. 

We stayed in the annexe, which was absolutely beautiful. The double bed was like sleeping on a giant marshmallow - so comfortable. 

Loved the little touches left by Hannah and Terry: like everything you needed to make a cup of tea - to having the necessary items to wash up. 

We only made a few basic meals, as we ate regularly at The Buck just up the road, but we had everything we needed and more. 

It’s a great place to stay as a base. So many places to walk to. 

We highly recommend and can’t wait to return for a forth visit.

This is a real JEM of a B&B in a beautiful country village with fabulous views and amazing hosts. Terry and Hannah make you feel truly at home with locally sourced cooked breakfasts and great self contained rooms if preferred. Room was really clean and really comfortable beds. You won’t be disappointed to stay here. Will visit again very soon 👏

Reeth is a wonderful village, and the views from the guest house and breakfast room are stunning.

There are lots of trails and walks to suit all abilities.

We stayed in the annexe at the guest house which was a beautiful conversion - comfortable and spotlessly clean.  The guesthouse is tucked away in a quiet corner of Reeth which is a popular spot to visit in Swaledale.  There’s plenty to do in the area, especially if you like nature and walking.  The village has amenities - pubs, cafes, shops etc so you don’t have to go far for a bite to eat or a drink - no need to use the car.  We would love to visit again.

this is probably an overused word here , but superb springs to mind . everything was superb , from the fantastic breakfast , great location and of course hannah and terry were the epitome of good host and hostess and always checked on our needs . the room was lovely and i found it hard to tear myself away from the tremendous view from the windows . if we return to the dales we know where we will be made welcome .

Absolutely wonderful. We stayed here for a night with friends and it’s a beautiful guest house.  The rooms are spotless and has all amenities that is needed. The beds are super comfy with gorgeous bedding. Breakfast was exceptional with all fresh local produce and the hosts Terry and Hannah make the experience perfect from start to finish. A beautiful well kept guest house and a wonderful family who run it. Would highly recommend this accommodation in the centre of Reeth near many pubs, restaurants and breathtaking walks. Very welcome

We absolutely love it here, we’ve been a fair few times now, and have another night booked in November. 

It’s cosy, comfortable and perfect for families and couples (weekends and long stay) 

It’s right in the heart of Reeth, you could not want anymore.

It’s our favourite place to visit and like a home from home :)
