Honestly me and my family have been going to this park for a good 20 Years and have had no trouble at all. The Caravans are NEVER dirty they are always immaculate and tidy and the inside is never Outdated it’s very modern and Up to date! The park offers a great variety of hospitality around such as fish and chip shop, Mario’s pizza food at the terrace cafe and an ice cream shop  which all serves amazing food! There’s plenty of entertainment around for children of all ages such as Arcades with lots of games, Crazy golf, Soft play, Skate park, Henry’s train and evening entertainment for children & adults. There’s a land train which takes you into Newquay for the day and it’s run from 915Am and then brings you back to the park at 415PM. Altogether I would say that this has to be best Family Holiday Park in Cornwall and would not go anywhere else!

Hendra surpassed all of our expectations. We had originally booked a camping pitch over the Easter break, only for our poles to break whilst setting up. The team could not do enough for us, from raiding their supplies to see of they had any spare poles, to finding us a caravan to stay in for the week to save us a four hour drive home. Customer service is of the highest standards, everyone we spoke to was so lovely and the kids had the best time! 

All the facilities are of a high standard and the entertainment team work so hard to make your holiday enjoyable. The kids loved the Easter egg hunt, the football academy, the ventriloquist, but most of all, they loved Henry and Henrietta! They are still asking when they can go back to see the hippo (or the whale as my youngest calls it…).

The site is really close to Newquay but you don’t need to leave the site at all. We spent a couple of days where we just played on the park, went to the soft play, and relaxed before heading to the entertainment with a pizza from Marios.

I can’t recommend this site enough, we all said how we could have been anywhere in the world (if you ignored the British weather). The staff really do make it a memorable experience for all the right reasons, my thanks go to each and every single staff member.

We will most certainly be back in the future, the kids can’t wait!

Hendra is the best. The staff across the whole site are so friendly and amazing at what they do. The grounds are so well maintained any time of year. The vans are comfortable and just what was needed after day's out and evenings at the Venue. Highly recommend for families

Visited Hendra for a family holiday, with my husband and little on. 
We were in a 2 bedroom caravan on the Beech area and it was lovely! 
Nice and spacious, lots of room for my little one to run around. 
The caravan was clean and well equipped and the room with the 2 single beds was easy to move around to fit little ones travel cot in. 

Check in was really easy and the staff were very friendly. 

We used the park on site most days and also the small shop. 
We also did visit the big morrisons up the road on our arrival day. 

We had received an email before travelling to say the fish and chip shop and the pizza place were going to be closed on the Monday through to Wednesday so we had planned to order food from the terrace bar and take back to our caravan. 
(We had done this on previous visits... pre renovation)
We went on the Monday to the terrace bar and was told we could only have burgers or kids meals as take away. So that is what we ordered. 
We then walked back to the caravan (a different way to way we had walked up) to discover both the fish and chip shop and the pizza place were open and serving food. We were very confused about this as we would have gone there if we had known. 

The Tuesday i checked the fish abd chip place and it was closed so we headed back to the bar area to order take away. This time i were told we could have what ever we wanted as take away however, as I had left hubby and little one in the caravan I just ordered burger and kids meal again as that's what we had decided on. 

Wednesday we cooked in the caravan, the only issue we had was there were no oven trays so we had to go out and buy tin foil and cover the racks. 

Thursday we then spent the evening in the venue, for bingo and tots entertainment... this was brilliant however, when my husband went again to the terrace bar to get food he was told the same as Monday for take away. 
It was very confusing. 
We couldn't work out why we could only have limited items as take away. 
Hendra would have actually got more money off us if we had more options for take away. 
But also we were told very different things by different staff members. 

The other thing that confused us was before travelling I contacted hendra to enquire if the oasis pool sold float vests and swim nappies. I was told that they don't, and they don't sell then in the small shop either. 
We had booked swimming for the Thursday so we made sure we ran into Newquay before to buy them.
When we then arrived for our alloted swim time they had float vests, nappies and many other items for sale in the oasis reception area. 

Overall hendra is amazing and we will be visiting again. I will just make sure we get the correct information before we go, or find places off site to eat in the evenings. 



Dean was great and very kind to ny children. Always smiling and helpful. Shop staff also very nice and kind. We will be back as loved it all.  Best caravan in the block too. 12a Hope to have it again as no digs and 2 of my family are allergic xx Great service.  

We had a fantastic week at Hendra holiday park. The facilities are amazing, plenty of things to do and food choices and great entertainment in the evenings for kids & adults. We had lovely weather and had amazing views from our touring pitch. We had no issues getting into the kids entertainment in the evenings and our 6 year old did not want to leave. We look forward to returning. 

Wonderful site, loads to do, friendly staff and we had the most brilliant holiday!  The pools were a big hit, plenty of places to grab food and lovely flat pitches with a strict rule past 10 so no rowdiness! Very clean toilets and showers. Thank you Hendra, we have already booked to return! 

We had a fantastic week at Hendra. 
The caravan (a Godrevy) was in the perfect location on the park and absolutely spotlessly clean. The facilities in the van were great, plenty of space too. We were on Laurel and had no problem with phone signal. 

The park facilities were brilliant. Our 3 year old throroughly enjoyed the evening entertainment and we swam in the indoor pool which, again, was clean and well presented and we used the arcades. The staff in there were lovely and made sure that our little girl didn't leave empty handed, which was very much appreciated. We had food from the chip shop which was good and really enjoyed the food in the Terrace bar too. One evening, the chef said he wasn't happy with the quality of the chicken he had cooked and quickly replaced the meal for something else which I thought was very honest and shows that care goes in to what is served. I thought the food and drinks were reasonably priced too. 

We didn't use other facilities such as the park, train or soft play but we had such a great time that we have already booked to return in July and will make use of those then. See you again soon! 

The holiday park is the best holiday park, me and my partner camped for a week, the toilet and shower block was very clean, the entertainment was fantastic, the staff was very friendly and helpful,can’t wait to return later in the year
