Lyric Hotel

Didn't really know what to expect as first time staying but can honeslty say the hotel was pretty good. As with most hotels the buildings are dated but it has been kept in very good condition. It was clean and usable which for a family with kids was perfect as we are never in the room for long. The breakfast facilities were brilliant! Full English breakfast that tasted amazing and with all this covid stuff still happening this place had it under control and had a system in place to ensure everyone was safe whilst at the same providing a brilliant breakfast for all which then set us up for the day. The owners are loverly people and go above and beyond and clearly show they care about their guests. There was a noisy family below us having an argument which the owners dealt with in a brilliant way and could stop apologising even though it wasn't the owners fault....unfortunately there are people out there who don't consider others. Honestly I can say I love this little hotel on the beach front and would definitely stop again. Its a perfect location for families right on the front in between South and Central peir and a tram stop right across the road. Definitely recommend this hotel. I just want to say thank you to the owners for a brilliant few days away.
