Poole Quay Hotel

We have stayed here a couple of times now and it is a lovely hotel if a little dated but the position is perfect and the staff are fantastic really helpful and friendly. We have a dog and she loves it, we have a downstairs room which has views over the harbour I'm sure the views on the other floors are better but we were very pleased with ours. Rooms are lovely and clean plenty of the usual tea coffee toiletries, but if you run out you only have to ask and you are restocked asap! I wanted the quickest route into the shopping centre and I think it was a manager who took me outside and gave great directions and even a map, she was so helpful I think if I would of let her she would have walked me to the shops(my sense of direction isn't good!)She was really helpful and professional as were all of the staff I came into contact with, I would really recommend staying at this hotel as so convenient for all of Poole. Breakfast is served in the restaurant on the 1st floor lots of choices all well cooked the staff even did a takeaway service for my partner who wasn't feeling to well! The views from the restaurant are lovely all across the harbour so a lovely start to your day! We will be going back again very soon thank you Thistle but especially a big thank you to the staff!!
