Meadowland Farm

We booked to be close to RHS Rosemoor expecting that to be the highlight of our holiday. In fact it turned out to be Meadowlands farm and our hosts Lucie and Simon plus their dogs Polly and Meg. They could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The room was comfortable and equipped with everything one could need. The farm is a delight to wander round in a setting beside the river Torridge. Lucie was extremely helpful with information about places to eat and tips on how to find them in the local pretty villages all within very easy reach. Although Meadowlands is classed as mid Devon it is in fact very easy to visit the major resorts on the coast from there. All in all we felt as if we had been staying with friends and were regretful to leave.
