Dam Head Barn

Very pleased with our accommodation. A group of 3, we were lucky enough to be upgraded from the Studio Cottage to the Blacksmiths Cottage by the very kind owners Moira and Kate. The unusual, historic cottage is warm, comfortable and tastefully furnished to suit the age of building. My daughter described the Cottage as a 'Harry Potter House', certainly well suited to the rather eerie tales of witchcraft the Pendle area is famous for! Booked full English breakfast - best we've ever had! Free wifi, quality bed linen, big fluffy towels, tea towels, tea bags, kettle, a pint of milk, washing up liquid, some toilet rolls, kitchen towel and hairdryer were provided. Take your own toiletries. The kitchen had an oven, hob, fridge with small freezer box, dishwasher and plenty of cookware. Huge wood burning stove in the lounge fireplace with initial logs/fuel provided. If you need anything in particular or have any questions just contact the owners. They were very helpful to us and responded quickly to emails. I always contact B&Bs in advance of a stay regarding expected arrival times, special requirements and breakfast as this ensures a smooth, enjoyable stay.
