This is the 3rd time my husband and I have been here this year ,we always have a fantastic stay David goes above and beyond. Its a fantastic guest house highly recommend we have already booked in for 2 more visits next year.Can not wait to come back.

We've been going to the Broadwater at least 2-3 times a year for the past 8 years - and David surpasses himself everytime.  There's always something different - either in the room or the dining room or outside.   It's the attention to detail that wins everytime.

We do visit other hotels in the UK - and we always compare to David - "they don't prepare it as good as David"; "not as many coffees as David" ... "the service isn't at all like David".

David is THE hotelier to beat any others - he's ever so helpful - from as soon as you get there helping with the luggage (no matter how heavy), and always a pot of tea upon arrival.    
Breakfast is freshly prepared each morning - and there's so much choice ; but the cooked breakfast is to die for - as you can have as much or as little as you want - David doesn[t mind, he's there to make you happy.   None of this "can you let us know what you want in the morning" palava (which has happened in other places - sometimes not even got in the room") . 
Even when it's busy, David always has time to speak to people and likes to know what you're doing/done and is so helpful in suggesting areas to go/places to eat.  It makes you feel as if he's invested in you - yes, he knows us but he's the same with people arriving/staying for the 1st time.  
As for the rooms - the beds are ever so comfortable - the rooms are always spotless.  

My parents who  lived in Morecambe passed away a couple of years ago but David is now the reason we visit Morecambe.

Superb guesthouse in a great sea front location.
The host, David, is so helpful and goes out of his way for everyone and nothing is too much trouble for him. Always there to meet you and then help with carrying baggage to the room - followed by a nice coffee.
The whole place is immaculately clean and very cosy throughout. It is already well documented in previous reviews regarding the high end appliances in the rooms - Dyson hair care,Dyson fans,Roberts radios,etc.
The complimentary tea/coffee trays contain a great variety of drinks. There is always some snacks/biscuits/confectionery items included.
The breakfast choices are very comprehensive and absolutely amazing - something for everyone !
Plenty of restaurants,cafes,pubs,etc within walking distance.
David is always willing to advise on any subject - whether it's on somewhere to eat, shopping,the local bus services,etc.
Highly recommended guesthouse complimented by the superb host,David.
We will like many other guests return soon.

Excellent Guest house.situated on the seafront overlooking Morcambe bay.close to all amenities.
Room outstanding,everything you could possibly need is in the room from the towels to the sleep spray for your pillow if you are a difficult sleeper. The bed was so comfortable that I would have happily remained in there for the entire break.
Food is first class.
Host extremely accommodating. 
Would highly recommend.

Back home now after another of our visits to Lord Broadwater and Broadwater Hall aka David and Broadwater Guest House!! It’s so difficult to find anything else to say that I haven’t said before, everything is just absolutely first class. What I can say however is try it yourself, you’ll not be disappointed!!!! The first of our bookings for next year is in already!!! Happy Christmas David see you at Easter 2025.

Just had three nights at the Broadwater and everything was superb.  A lovely welcome on arrival and nothing was too much trouble for David and his staff. 
Apart from the customary tea making facilities there was a fridge in the room with fresh milk and a selection of nibbles.
As a birdwatcher it was lovely to have a pair of binoculars in the room to aid identification of the many waders just across the road on the waters edge.
The breakfast offered a wide choice and was top quality and was served with a smile and  welcoming words. 
It was my first visit to Morecambe and I had no plans to visit again. The fact I have booked a four night stay in July is perhaps the best compliment I can pay to this delightful Guest House.

David and the team provided an excellent  service. Very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good with plenty of choice.  
The room was spotless and the extra touches e g chocolates in room, milk in fridge daily. The toiletries were  of top quality. Definitely  would recommend Broadwater guest house and we will be returning in the future.

An absolute gem of a place to stay, one of the nicest rooms we've ever had in a guest house. The owner dave goes above and beyond making your stay as pleasant as possible. Did his best to allow an early check-in and communication was great. We had room 3 which is 1st floor with bay window overlooking the bay onto the lakes hills. A tv larger than what I have at home! A great selection of hot drinks Inc sweets biscuits crisps and a mini fridge with proper milk in. Breakfast was beaut, once again a good selection. It's a cert that we will book here if in area again.

From the moment I arrived, David couldn’t have been more welcoming. The property itself is well situated on the seafront and the decor is in keeping with the area; many photos and books relating to Morecambe and its Bay.
The bedroom was exceptionally clean and thoughtful touches  included fresh daffodils and complimentary use of binoculars.
The breakfast had to be the best I’ve had in any guest house or hotel.
I will definitely recommend to family and friends without hesitation and I look forward to returning soon.

Just returned from a weekend at this excellent Guest House.  This was our third visit and would recommend it wholeheartedly.  David is a friendly host who has thought of everything!  Our room was very comfortable with so many extra touches.  The bathroom is fully equipped with excellent toiletries.  It would be hard to think of anything missed from the delicious breakfast menu.

An excellent Guest House which we recommend wholeheartedly!

I travel to the UK several times a year and I have stayed at various B&Bs in the Lancaster/ Morecambe area. Without a doubt, the Broadwater guesthouse is the cleanest,  exceptionally accommodating most pleasant stay I have had so far. I really don’t write reviews but I felt I had to because of the exceptional experience that we had on latest visit. David attends to details and service like no one else I know and we can’t wait to go back.
