Had a lovely stay in The Nuek, Bill & Lynn met us on arrival, lovely couple, the cottage is so cosy, it was pretty stormy when we arrived but could not hear a sound in the cottage. The sea is on your doorstep. Brownies, whisky and chocolates are set out for you, Brownies are delicious! Not forgetting gravy bones for Pip our dog. The bed was so comfy, the shower was amazing, pressure was so good. Watched Local Hero on dvd after we came home from going into Pennan to see the famous “Phone-box” then finding out that Bill is The Local Hero who helps to paint the phone box ☎️ every year-Legend, that was amazing to hear! The two of us could sit and listen to Bill all day long! Lynn sells lovely pottery, bought a few things from her shop, she also sells Portsoy ice cream- delicious . Absolutely love this area, sometimes stay in Cullen, Portsoy and Turriff but think I’ve found my favourite place! Lovely to meet Brodie too, a wee cutie. Lovely to meet Brodie too.🐾 Steve, Isabel & Pip🐾
