Came for football west brom vs Brough hotel 23 mins walk to stadium and quite area and good price

Rooms basic, but clean and tidy enough, Some of the outher gust are a bit loud but I half expected that with it been close to town center. I was a bit concerned after reading some of the outher reviews but my experience so far is that the staff are super helpful especially riz ,who has greeted me this morning with a smile to see if I was happy with everything and made sure I got a coffee. The guy who checked me in  last night was also helpful.

Staff are really helpful.

If you are expecting a 5-star hotel experience then this may not be the property for you. But if you would like a simple experience with all the essentials as well as WiFi, breakfast, parking, and great value, then look no further.My room in particular was perfectly adequate though a few of the details had been overlooked - shower gel dispenser in the shower was empty, bathroom missing the hand towel (just the two big ones for us), and there was a [clean] empty takeout container in the cupboard that had been missed. But the room was tidy and the bedding and bathroom were clean, which is what matters. Would stay again. :)

Upon arrival checkin was excellent, stress free & welcoming. Shown to room with everything shown and or explained simplistically. The room was clean, the bathroom bedding immaculate, bed v comfortable. Good storage, good coffee tea water biscuits to greet you and last. I can say I was impressed by this. Bathroom,toilet shower, towels including wash products great.Very friendly establishment, polite friendly, curious staff. I witnessed staff keeping on top of things, eg glass windows etc. that didn't put me off, but reinforced the establishments ethic.Breakfast - limited to degree, limited (maybe that due to staff catching up in interim) however the service, if asked no problem friendly courteous. Service. Food on whole ok. Youghut great as was coffee etc

We came to stay cos of a family emergency and booked late in the afternoon arriving late that night at about 22:45. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating, the receptionist booking us in was very kind and polite and walked us to our room ensure we could use the door codes and knew where we where going, the staff regularly checked in on us to insure there where no issues with our stay, breakfast was included and staff where very attentive making sure we had all we needed. Teas and coffees where brought quickly, The staff made the difficult stay the was needed much easier we no added stress

Really nice Asian owners to deal with, who give excellent customer service and nothing is too much trouble to please a guest Breakfast was excellent and catered to my diabetic diet as I now have to eat a pescatarian diet .Massive room and shower and modern smart television in the room which unfortunately would not work with freeview play or bbc iPlayer.Lots of complementary things in the room and enjoyed a comfortable stay for a hospital appointment at James Cook hospital nearby . Only downsides to my stay is an electronic lock that you need a code that would defeat Alan Turing the inventor of the modern computer and a cleaning person disturbing my stay at 08-15 am in the morning after my 06-30 am breakfast  A simple do not disturb sign hung on the door would have avoided embarrassment to myself and the cleaning person who did not even knock on the room door to check if a guest was still in the room ! In short a clean nice place to stay that has excellent transport connections to the North Riding of Yorkshire and Northumbria at an excellent price

Lgbt and disabled friendly, Disturbed by cleaner!

I  travel several times because of my work and this time  had to be in Middlesbrough stay  ther for more than 4. Days every time they clean the room and but wathever I asked for the staff are very nice and friendly the only thing I didn’t really like is the breakfast I think they need to but everything in the buffet will be better than the keep asking for more toast or coffee  and will be more better if they buy more choices there  like eggs you can but frays eggs scrambled eggs not only boiled one

Check-in was completed via WhatsApp, and I was given my door code. Luckily, someone was around outside when I arrived close to midnight, because he was able to tell me the door code had changed...I couldn't give a full five stars for service etc, because beyond that I hardly saw anyone other than the waitress at breakfast. Also, the room didn't have a bin! But it was well stocked with tea, coffee, wash minis, etc, and the breakfast had all the staples – unless, like me, you're vegetarian, and would appreciate a little more than just beans, hard-boiled eggs, and fried mushrooms, tomatoes, and bread...The room itself was comfy for the price range, though, and the building relatively quiet.

Good service, if mostly invisible...

Nice hotel,  clean and the staff were really nice.  Night staff opened the main door and welcomed you in throughout the night.  The room was very small but was comfortable for the two nights we stayed.  Breakfast is included and was good choice of cereal, fruit and full cooked breakfast.  The only down sides were that a double room only offered one bath towel for 2 people to have showers and no toilet roll in the bathroom.  We had to find someone to get toilet roll and another towel.

This was a business trip. Wanted somewhere a short distance from the middle of town, which it was. The hotel was, therefore, well situated. Importantly, staff were police and professional. The hotel was clean and the room that I had been allocated was tidy. Good value for money. Would recommend. Also, had a decent breakfast.

Just like to say what a great hotel this is. Just stayed here and can hand on heart say it’s the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Spent the night walloping and the bed was brilliant. Also the shower was great too. Would highly recommend this hotel to my friends and family! Thank you for letting me stay here 👍🏽
