We were made to feel very welcome at Llwyn House by Linda, the landlady. 
Nothing was too much trouble for her. 
The room was lovely and the bed comfortable. Although there was no ensuite bathroom, this was not an issue. 
The breakfast was fabulous, and Linda cooked as much as we wanted.  
Highly recommended! 

We stayed here whilst walking the Offas Dyke. Linda, the owner could not have been more helpful or accommodating. The breakfast was lovely and fresh.  The rooms were cosy and very comfortable. Great place to stay

Had an excellent stay here while walking Offa's Dyke recently. This is a lovely 16th Century house right in the heart of Montgomery. Very comfortable and Linda is an excellent host. 

On arrival, we found that Linda had been painting the bedroom windows and were hired to do a brief bit of DIY in order to reattach them!

Highly recommend and excellent value.

Fitted Windows!

It is a good house and the owner is very congenial, so I feel a bit unkind in only giving three stars. However, my wife and I had spent several weeks in Wales, walking in Pembrokeshire and the ODP. We thought that our room here had the least space we had in the whole time, and that covers many B and B's. The bathroom was large but it was not en suite, and there was another lodger who shared it with us. At least he was quick. All this would not matter quite as much if the price was reduced to reflect the level of  the amenities. However, the room price was the same as we paid elsewhere for more spacious B and B rooms equipped with an en suite.

Attractive house but room not great value

They weren't there! I booked for doing Offa's Dyke. Rang and confirmed some weeks later and it was all set. Got to Montgomery about half 3, place all locked up. Went to the Dragon Inn across the road, wandered over every half hour to knock, ring, leave a message. No one there all night and still not there in the morning. Had to book in at the pub instead. 
Still not received any call back from the message I left either.
