What an amazing place to stay, kirsteen and Roddy made us feel so welcome and were the most amazing hosts. We were welcomed into their home with a pot of tea and homemade cookies , which were absolutely gorgeous. Kirsteen told us about all the great places where we could visit and eat. Then showed us to our fabulous room. We had room 1, it has a four poster bed which is soooo comfortable, on-suite shower room, 2 big comfortable chairs to watch a bit of T.V if you wish, there was tea, coffee, cold milk in a flask and also a jar with more of Kirsteens fabulous cookies. Fresh cut flowers were also in the room. All the little touches made it so lovely. The breakfast was the best we have ever had, cereal, fresh orange juice, toast, with some of Kirsteen's home made jams, then we had Roddys full English breakfast that was just perfect. All washed down with a big pot of tea. Kirsteen was so lovely, Fantastic host, we also bought some of her home made jam to take home as it was so nice. We came away feeling relaxed and totally spoilt. Best break we've had in a long time. We will definitely be returning.
