We were out for a day getting spares for my classic and thought that we should find a pub to eat; the first we found was the Red Lion. Called in and very pleasantly surprised. We had the two courses for £12.50. Chicken wings, meat croquettes, checked burger and beef burger. The croquettes will full of meat and very tasty, perfectly cooked too, chicken wings in BBQ sauce also spot on. Both the burgers came with a good portion of very tasty chips. The pub is spotless, well decorated and very pleasant. Owner / Barman very attentive, polite and helpful. For the money good value and a great place. Definitely call again if in the area. Recommend if you are around
