What a lovely hotel! This kind of hotels is the reason we love to visit UK; they are unique, beautifully decorated and the service is wonderful! The room was tiny but beautiful and it had everything we needed. It was very quiet and warm. The breakfast was very good and the dinner at the pub was excellent. We would love to go back!

Lovely property. Helpful friendly staff. Good food. Easy parking. Lovely shower. Bed headboard a bit dusty but apart from that spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. Bed was comfortable. Room was a good size. Good range of hot drinks in room with decent sized cups and nice glasses. Lovely touch with personal welcome note and chocolates.The only thing for us was that the room was really too warm even with windows open and radiator switched off. TV - lots of channels that didn’t work. Would definitely stay again.

A very warm welcome as soon as I entered the hotel awaited me. I was soon checked-in and away to my room that was a cosy single. The room and en-suite were both clean and the bed very comfortable. There was a super choice for breakfast both continental and full English etc. I chose the latter that set me up for the day and was delicious. I had dinner on 2 occasions and that was beautifully cooked and well presented. I shall definitely return next time I am in the area.

Really great staff, all very friendly and helpful. Lovely evening meals and breakfasts as well as the little touches (chocolates) offer of fresh milk in the room.

Great service booking and as normal the room was excellent, food and friendliness of the staff is the pub again were fantastic, p.s breakfast isnt to be missed.

Very friendly and helpful. Made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Service brilliant, room comfortable and with everything we needed and more, plus a little 'Welcome' note and a couple of chocolates. A very individualised experience. Recommend to anybody !!

Only complaint would be that on warm nights it would be good to have a sheet provided rather than / or in addition to a duvet.

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel and food in the restaurant. All staff have been very friendly, attentive and helpful. Room was quiet and had everything we needed. Nice to have iron and board without having to request it.  Lots of additional touches. Welcome tray with a lovely, personal message and as we would call it, ‘posh’ biscuits and drinks options with additional thought of the option of fresh milk for drinks if wanted- a little milk urn to be filled upon request and keep the milk cool! Breakfast was excellent value, again with attentive, friendly staff. Would recommend and stay again!

A wonderful small hotel

Superb - I look forward to returning!

The hotel was easy to find plenty of room to park.The check-in will a simple process and i was made to feel very comfortable. The room was very comfortable with a large bed. It had a very homely feeling.The dinner menu was simple but varied food was served within a timely manner to suggest it was cooked to order rather the chucked in rhe microwave.Good selection for breakfast to.I had scrambled eggs which wasn't on the menu but they were more than happy accommodate me.

We were greeted by families having lunch and the sight of amazing food made walking into the newly refurbished dining area has an instant impact of the family feel that this hotel has to offer. The management team went so far beyond our expectations, after being let down by a rival hotel they came to our rescue. The hotel room was compact but had an amazing en-suite and comfortable bed. Very clean and a personal message welcoming us to the hotel. These little touches made us feel very welcome.This was once of the best experiences that we have had. Thank you and will be back.

Nice and cosy room. Both room and bathroom were clean. Little chocolates and a welcome note on the bed was a nice touch. Check in was easy really friendly guy welcoming us in. The pub is lovely too and all staff were polite and treated us well. Food was good and plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again.

This is a lovely hotel full of character and English Charm. Very good value i loved everything about this place. I had booked it for myself and two colleagues one form the U.S. and one from Germany. They were both so impressed too.Everything from the beer, excellent menu and food, well appointed very comfortable rooms, easy parking and most importantly of all the great ,friendly very efficient staff was just perfect. Cant wait to go back .

Had a nice stay, the staff here were very friendly, nice lady on reception during day and friendly guy at night.  Room was basic but very clean, bed was super comfortable. There was a bit of noise from some guests but it'd a cheap and cheerful 2* hotel so that's to be expected.  The room had a fridge which we filled full of beers and the aircon was very good.  I paid 300 for 4 nights can't argue with that.

The Staff were very welcoming and invited us to make a reservation for dinner when we checked. Parking was easy at the hotel and amazingly as the pub was very busy there were no sounds heard from the bar or the parking lot in our room. The room was large and the bed was the most comfortable we have slept in for the past two weeks! we would definitely stay here if we were in the are again. The dinner was excellent too!
