Our stay at Arden House was a highlight of our trip. As soon as we were greeted by the friendly host dogs we knew we would enjoy it! Janet and Graham were great, giving us lots of recommendations for food and things to do. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. We stayed in the Tomatin room, which was very large and comfortable. The bathroom was also large and had a nice big shower. The room was very well stocked with coffee, tea, biscuits, etc. We were sad to leave, but hope we can stay again!

Enjoyed a two night stay at Arden House. A warm welcome to a fabulous B & B.  Lovely spacious room with all facilities.  A yummy breakfast & a good location for the area.  Hoping to return in the future.

Absolutely superb; lovely house, great rooms, fantastic breakfast (thanks Janet) and great hospitality. Graham is a marvellous host, nothing too much trouble - stored and charged our EMTBs and loads of local knowledge. Will definitely be back as it’s absolutely perfect for exploring the area. Warm and welcoming, felt like home with wonderfully kind and generous hosts in both Graham & Janet and their two lovely dogs Oz and Isla. The room and facilities were excellent as was their breakfast, fresh, delicious and felt like an all you can eat buffet at times, or that's what my waistlines telling me.. Couldn't of asked for a more enjoyable and pleasant stay and we'll definitely be back.. Thanks for having us Raymond & Iz.

What a beautiful house! Our room was stunning and modern. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel is close to a couple of restaurants and a cooperative and coffee shop and in great proximity to the walking, wild swimming and sightseeing in the area

I went on a hiking trip with my dad. One of the owners gave us advise for several hiking routes and for places to grab a bite for diner. The Rooms we’re really nice and the breakfast was wonderful. The couple that is running the place are the nicest people you could wish for during your stay.

Can highly recommend Arden House for its central location for the Cairngorms and comfortable well decorated  rooms. Graham and Janet are great hosts and the breakfast is excellent! Would love to return

This was our second visit to Arden House, both times we have come here before going off to Fort William and Ben Nevis the next day.
I cannot praise both the place and our hosts enough. 
We hadn't eaten having just driven 4 hours to get to Kingussie and our hosts were generous enough to open up the breakfast room so we could eat dinner (A wonderful Chinese take away within the town) before we went to our room. 
Our room itself was amazing; it was clean, comfortable and very spacious (I can't remember its name but believe it began with a "D". 
I would 100% come back.

We'd booked Arden House for a long weekend break. The entire stay lived up to and even exceeded the positive reviews we'd read before booking.

Firstly, Janet and Graham were fantastic hosts who made us feel welcome throughout our entire stay. They were both very accommodating and great to chat with (for example, we learned a lot about the local area from Graham while being served breakfast) but without making us feel smothered. As an example, we were even offered a lift to the Hidhland Wildlife Park after we'd misread the bus times, which really helped us out. They also have two very friendly and well-behaved dogs, who we enjoyed meeting!

The accommodation itself was immaculate while also having a lot of character. The beds were comfortable, the room was kept warm and cozy, and a great selection of complimetary tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and biscuits was provided in the room.

There was also a good amount of choice for breakfast, including vegetarian options, and the food itself was freshly cooked and delicious.

Finally, the location is great, too. Kingussie is a lovely town surrounded by beautiful countryside, and the B&B is situated only a stone's throw away from bus stops, the train station, and the town centre. The Highland Wildlife Park is also situated just a short bus ride away.

We'll definitely be back next time we're visiting the area.

Superb Stay

Amazing Stay

Beautiful place and the most amazing hosts

Amazing in Every Aspect

Friendly and welcoming hosts who went out of their way to make our stay perfect. They even provide crockery, cutlery, condiments and a pot of tea in the dining room if you want to take a take-away back. Excellent breakfast with an extensive menu and made with locally sourced and high quality produce (including vegetarian). Large, comfortable room and well appointed with plenty of storage, ensuite, drinks making facilities and lots of biscuits. Great location for exploring the Cairngorm national Park and further afield.

Amazing Hospitality, food and room

Once again, we’ve had an excellent stay at Arden House. Janet and Graham are by far the best B&B hosts, we cannot recommend them highly enough. Very accommodating for providing vegan cooked breakfasts and offering help no matter the time of day. Kingussie is perfectly located for Loch Insh, Aviemore, and the wider Cairngorms. Already planning our next stay.

I had an amazing trip to the Cairngorms with some friends. Janet and Graham were incredibly welcoming and kind - they were always around to help with anything. The breakfasts were amazing (brilliant veggie options) and the rooms were clean, well-decorated, and comfy. 

I would highly recommend Arden house to any visitor to the area!

Amazing hospitality

We travel a lot and we think Arden House is the ideal place to stay when you go to Aviemore area. It's in a great location, very nice and comfortable rooms. We have been only one night but it was a lovely stay, definitely we'll go back. Big size room and bed, comfortable, warm, big private bathroom, full of comforts and all you need for the best stay. Graham is very friendly and kind. The breakfast is good and delicious, car park, excellent signal wi-fi. All is perfect. Strongly recommended, hard to find a better accomodation!!!

Wonderful place

We choose this as a last minute break for two nights would highly recommend this fabulous bed and breakfast it’s is without a doubt one of the most amazing places we have stayed in the uk or abroad  from start to finish very warm helpful and friendly recommended places to visit to eat out or even bring takeaway and eat in dining room ! The whole house is exceptionally well decorated and all beautifully styled and the breakfasts are fabulous lots of choice and very appetising . Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable
