With the addition of Hamish's Kitchen this park now has everything - stunning views of Loch Oich, A great selection of freshly prepared meals, beer and spirits on tap. Friendly hosts and visitors. Come away from here totally relaxed and ready for a return visit.

This is an ideal place to "get away fom it all." Located in the Highlands, quite close to amenities. Great walking trails and wild swimming, paddle boarding etc; 
Ben Nevis is just down the road, if you're feeling adventurous and fit! 
Throughly enjoyable stay!

Stunning setting, peaceful and good value. Well equipped cabin, clean and warm. Staff very helpful and friendly when booking, on arrival and at the end of our stay. Top marks to Heather for the fantastic service. Would definitely visit again. Covid restrictions meant that the restaurant and bar were closed but that wasn't an issue as we came well prepared to eat in the cabin. 

Booked this as a family visit, we stayed in lochside lodge no30 with hot tub, we were very worried about coming as there was no pics of hottub on website and when we phoned to enquire about other areas it was not available!!! On arrival site is visably under construction as there was a large skip in reception carpark! Was a bit upset to find out the restraunt and swimmingpool are shut but reception staff were lovely n friendly. Arrived into lodge and had been freshly decorated apart from kitchen blind but rest of cabin lovely and fresh - plus chrimbo tree made it very festive! If your looking for something very state of the art this isnt it! But the views are breathtaking and the hot tub was one of the hottest i have ever been in! If i had to choose a down side it would be the under counter fridge/freezer as a cabin that holds 6 and we were there for 4nights, it consisted of food jenga, with everywhere closed for new year it was a bit of a struggle, but was excellent value for money and all our group loved it.

Absolutely amazing week spent with friends in lodges 16 and 17 , however I’m speaking solely for number 16, absolutely beautiful inside the lodge and out! Inside the lodge was modern, beautifully and immaculately presented with full bedding and towels for me my husband and our four children and two dogs, the loch oich was was a vision of perfection, so calming unfortunately I think our two jack Russell terriers ruined the tranquility due to their barking as the breed does, but I can’t say a bad word, the staff were always on call no matter what day or time, and always to a high standard I hope to book again one year in the summer  if my dogs are allowed back ☺️

Best stay in Scottish highlands on Loch Oich with water access and dock if you up for a swim or go for any form of water activities. We were there with 60 others for the Great Glen Challenge and it was perfect!

We absolutely loved our stay here. When we arrived the friendly lady at reception helped us check in really fast and was really helpful with attractions and places nearby.

The whole location is gorgeous and perfect! Its situated in a great place to explore the highlands. The park was very tidy and the views of the loch are stunning. The cabins are very cute and cozy. We visited with our dog and had our cabin which overlooked the loch had everything we needed. It was very spacious, the beds were comfy and it was clean. We paid £20 gas and electric which we thought was reasonable for a week.

We were notified before our trip that the bar and other facilities wouldn't be available during our stay; therefore this wasnt a shock when we arrived. Despite this, We would definitely return, the owner was very friendly at checkout and he explained that they are developing the site further through the return of bar, watersports, and by adding better wifi. We are looking forward to coming back!

This picturesque place is almost like an old painting but real.

Backing on to Loch Oich with absolute amazing views is Great Glen Water Park/Invergarry & Glengarry Lodges. 

My group and I arrived a little late so the reception was closed, but the manager had organised for key pick up. The Scandinavian style huts are deceptively spacious and cosy. 

After a little set back we were able to contact the manager Eddie and he bent over backwards to help out, which has made our stay even more amazing that it already was.

Without a doubt, the best place that I have stayed in whilst in Scotland. From the scenery to the management and the way they treat their guests I can not rave enough about this place!

Great location and lovely staff who will go out of their way to help you out :) Stayed with 10 friends in a cottage which had a hot tub included and large garden outside. Plenty of walks nearby to go on.

Came here on my hen do with 7 other girls for 4 nights. Arrived to a very spacious cottage with excellent utilities(even a slow cooker!!) everything was clean and the beds were so comfy, especially after a long night of singing and dancing it was a great comfort knowing you were getting a great sleep. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating. There was a dishwasher and dishwasher tablets were provided which was great! The stunning views added to it. Hot tub was roasting which was great because the Scottish summer hasn’t exactly been warm! Throughly enjoyed my stay, even enjoyed sitting watching the television on the comfy couches when others were taking a disco nap. We all did canoeing on the canal which was fabulous and cured any hangovers. Fresh towels were provided, all utensils were there that would be needed for a long weekend. Would recommend to anyone wanting a laid back stay in the beautiful surroundings of Scotland!! The drive home was a little bit sore after a few nights on the vino, but would definitely come back ! Excellent value , had a brilliant time !!

Surprisingly beautiful lodges in the green valley

Our original accommodation was cancelled last minute due to storm damage. We were so grateful this was offered to us and as an upgrade. It was big, nice inside, and great for us. Was great to have a hot tub to enjoy with our children. Very pretty area lots of nice areas nearby as well. We enjoyed the quiet. We got to play in the snow and really appreciated our stay.

Struan Cottage

We booked this Lodge through Anchor Mor, who own lots of lodges on this park. It’s now called Invergarry Lodges, not Great Glen Waterpark. The park has shut and been taken over. Most of the lodges have been bought and are privately owned and rented.
Yes the playground is old and nothing is open, but that didn’t bother us at all, we knew that when we booked.  Location is amazing, lodge is fab spec, modern inside and clean.

We booked Lodge no. 5 on the Great Glen Water Park to have some time off and relax.

Our lodge was cosy and clean. The view from the large sliding doors to the veranda was a picture postcard view of Loch Ochi with a forest of Norwegian spruces and Scots Pines close to the banks of the Loch. Occasionally we would see boats and canoes sailing by which contributed to the relaxation theme. There was also the regular visit of the ducks waddling by the lodge.

For us the views were everything as we wanted the opportunity to switch off and properly relax and the lodge provided that.

Our bedroom had an en-suite and the bonus for us (easily pleased !) was to discover the lovely heated floor totally unexpected. In terms of sleep comfort we both slept like babies to between 10 and 11 am, good for us as we are normally always up by 8.30 even on a weekend! 

I love to cook and found the kitchen well-appointed having all the utensils and pans I needed and good quality as well. Loads of plates and good quality wine glasses and again unexpected a good selection of herbs and spices were available. (Because of covid a lot of places were closed including the onsite café so this was important to us.)

As it was October it was fairly quiet and therefore we saw nobody except for the groundsmen in the day exactly what we wanted :-)

In terms of tech we had constant access to the WiFi and a smart tv, but to be honest we spent a lot of time on the veranda or staring at the scenery out of the sliding doors.

Whilst we were there we discovered the Invergarry Station museum (on-going project) and enjoyed a lovely 9.5 mile round trip walk from there on the Great Glen path through the forest, absolutely recommend this but do have walking shoes  / trainers on.

We will return but will bring our bikes to explore more and further  :-)

Total Relaxation

This review is specifically for Hamish's Kitchen which is a new restaurant opened on site, which apparently has only been open since July. 

We went there for a meal on the 9th of September during our Scotland Road Trip. The online booking was very easy to do and took less than a couple of minutes.

The restaurant itself isn't the easiest place to find, it's tucked out the way down a track with lots of holiday lodges.

The restaurant is small and sparsely furnished. It was relatively clean, although there was a strong fishy smell which was slightly unpleasant which I'm guessing from simply from food. 

There were lots of plates and cutlery left on tables from previous customers, this appeared to be down to a lack of staff as opposed to neglect.

The waiter we had was very nice and helpful in picking food choices, I chose the Venison burger which was very nice, my other half decided to have a steak which unfortunately wasn't very nice, slightly overdone, but also didn't taste nice and gave her a few tummy issues later on that night and the following morning.

The chips on both plates were very oily, this we put down to the salad they give you probably being covered in olive oil which has then run into the chips and made them soggy which was a shame.

My meal was fine but overall I wouldn't return. Sorry Hamish.
