Great stay. Modern, newly renovated room comfortable bed and very modern bathroom which was very comfortable. Only downside was the window didn’t open so was very hot getting ready the next morning with the shower etc in the room. Air con is not good

we stayed for a family wedding so just needed the hotel as a base , the location is great lots of local shops within walking distance , very friendly staff, the rooms were very clean and bed was very comfortable. Very happy with the stay. 

Our stay at the Premier Inn was on the whole an enjoyable one, we stayed for three nights using the meal deal plan. Having never been to the Lake District before we had to rely on the local information available on site, we were not disappointed, the staff were knowledgable and friendly and were happy to help. The evening meals were basic but acceptable and the staff did their best, on the third evening it was much improved, the staff were more professional and coped easily, big shout for Toby behind the bar. Look forward to returning.

Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. Special mention to Jenny, nothing was too much trouble. Diane was excellent along with Debbie and Kerry. Lovely ladies who were all very customer focused. Lucky to have them as part of the premier inn team.

Town is one way traffic,prem inn is middle of town,we got checked in 2 hours early on Sunday,main street is pubs ,shops and eating places,Lot of shops not open on Mondays.Prem Inn clean and quiet,great staff  Diane and Chloe also night shift guy ,didnt get his name very helpful and friendly.paid car park but can leave it in their car park after checking out if going shopping etc

The staff at this hotel could not do enough for you, Billy on reception was amazing, and the girls working the bar and restaurant , Hazel and Rose. It appears to be so busy and these guys are taking the brunt for staff sickness trying to ensure all guests are looked after, happy and comfortable.  The room was clean, tidy and i had a good nights sleep.  The staff seem to pull together to try and reduce the impact of being so short staff to guests, and despite all still managed to give a smile and time to talk.  I hope Premier appreciate and value these staff members, i have never seen staff members pulling together as a team like i had this weekend, they made my stay.

Central location, modern clean and tidy, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Excellent meal deal offer, nice food at Table Table Restaurant and plenty of food and drink choices at breakfast. Please note that the car park is privately operated, not owned by the hotel hence why there is a charge for parking.

Lovely hotel we had a two night stay while visiting family in the lakes. Prem plus room spacious modern and clean. Staff were very friendly chatted to two of the cleaners Elisha and beth at reception and they were very honest about what the town had to offer. Pub rightnextdoor was nice food and lovely staff would stay again next year when we visit again! 

We went to the Premier Inn @ Kendal Central on 29.12.22 as we were attending a wedding the following day at Troutbeck and this was the closest hotel with a reasonable price. We ended up having around 30-40 of us stay at the hotel and we all had tea in the evening and breakfast the following day. Admittedly, service in the evening could have been better. However they had staff off sick and not everyone had booked a table so they wouldn't have known how busy it was going to be. Some of our party decided to eat elsewhere as there was no space in the restaurant for them to have a meal until later in the evening. (obviously there were other guests that had booked tables). We booked the Premier Plus room and it was lovely. A great ambience and lovely bathroom. We had a great nights sleep, thank you Premier Inn.

Stress-free booking and stay over New Year. Quick walk to the centre of town. Easy parking outside with council carpark close by if full. Easy drive into the Lakes for lovely walks. Very friendly staff and clean rooms if slightly dated.

Very nice stay in Kendal. This was our second stay here.
Our room was clean and tidy. We requested additional pillows and these were swiftly brought to us.Breakfast was very good. We ate out for our other meals.
We came during school holidays and got some great advice from Christine in reception about what to do and where to eat in the Lakes and Kendal.
We visited Windermere and Ambleside. We had the car but were advised of decent bus service from nearby bus station. 
We went up the castle (bit muddy🤣) and we also went to the Brewery Arts Centre in Kendal.

Overall, it was a very nice stay for just a few days. It was clean, comfy, and the staff were very kind and helpful. There was a little muck up with early check in, where we got given a wrong room and had to wait 10-20 mins, but it was sorted as quickly as possible, and the staff was very apologetic. If I had stayed longer than two nights, I think I would have had to complain though. As the room above me had constant banging, so I'm not sure if it was a family with several kids running around. But as I was only staying for a short amount of time, I just sucked it up and dealt with it. But I'm sure if I did complain about the noise, the staff would have sorted it for sure!

Amazing Staff

Just spent the last 2 nights here.  We arrived at around 5pm on Sunday and by pure luck managed to get a space in the car park.  

Check in was nice and easy, with a friendly welcome. Housekeeping not done daily automatically, but you can request it.  

We had booked a Premier Plus room, ours was on the top floor, room 218.   Large room, clean too. We overlooked the front of the hotel and had a window that opened slightly - we like this as it stops the room getting too stuffy.

No bath in the room, but a large walk-in shower. We also had a fridge with 2 free bottles of water, the usual kettle and tea/coffee supplies, and also a nespresso machine and pods.   We also had 2 mini bars of Green&Blacks chocolate which is a nice touch.

Only negative was that the WiFi was a bit slow and patchy, but not a massive problem for us.

The hotel is just a few minutes walk to the town centre and it's selection of pubs/cafes/shops and restaurants.   A great location.
