Lovely greeting by owners and a very comfortable, spotless room.  We only stayed one night because we were on a road trip but it we had everything we needed and enough room for us sharing with our teenage son. 

Stayed here for one night on my way back down south after a longer stay in the Northern Highlands. The guest house is within easy walking distance of the river, restaurants, bus and rail stations, and two supermarkets. The room was warm, clean and comfortable. The owners operate a "let yourself in" policy on arrival, with very clear instructions sent by email in advance as to how to do so. This really suited me, as I knew I would be arriving quite late and would not want to be worrying about disturbing the owners by doing so. At the same time, it was made very clear that guests were welcome to contact the owners if they needed anything during their stay. I would say that this place offers exceptional value for money if you're looking for somewhere clean, simple and central in Inverness. I certainly intend to visit here again the next time I need an overnight in Inverness.

My wife and I stayed here for a night with our 1 year old. The double room was a great size with plenty of room for us to put up our travel cot. The bed was comfortable- we had a great nights sleep. Both Marina and Stephen were great hosts and couldn't do enough for us. We'll certainly be back. 

This guest house was beautifully decorated and was extremely comfortable. It was the prefect place to relax after a busy day and felt just like home.  Was a short walk into town for a variety of bars and restaurants. 

I only stayed one night, arriving late and leaving early the next morning but it was pleasant enough and I had no problems. Self check-in was easy following the instructions emailed in advance by the owners and although I didnt actually meet them they do live in the building if you have any problems or just want to say hello. My single room was small but fine for a one night stay, and was clean and comfortable. The room had its own bathroom not en-suite but just along the hallway, but was lockable so you could unpack and leave your stuff out as if it were an ensuite. I noticed the doors on my bedroom and bathroom were soft close and I assume the other rooms were too as there was none of the dreaded heavy door banging you usually get in hotels - good thinking Glenrossie!

There is no dining room or breakfast facilities in the guesthouse (there are suggestions for nearby eating places in the room leaflets) but I did also notice a request that hot food isn't eaten in the room though, so something to be aware of if planning on bringing takeaway food back. A tea tray is provided including ground coffee and a cafetier which was a nice extra and much appreciated on an early start day.

As I arrived quite late I was able to park outside the guesthouse and there were lots of spaces along the road, athough there are daytime parking restrictions there is also nearby street parking available. The Rose Street multi storey is also just 5 mins drive away with reasonable rates for a city car park.

Overall a pleasant place to stay and in a good location and I'd definitley look to staying here again on my next visit.

We loved this little guest house booked two nights ahead from our B and B in Staffin, Skye! For a last minute booking, the owners were very sweet, accommodating and helpful! Inverness is a ruggedly beautiful city- easily accessible on foot from Glenrossie. We stayed only one night, but we regretted that we didn’t stay longer! This gem of the highlands has warmth and wonderful people! The view out of our window reminded me of Willie Wonka and the Chocolate factory- charming!
