We booked last minute for the Fringe & Tattoo & were not disappointed. The suites are on a side street off the Royal Mile so the location could not have been better. St Giles Cathedral, an array of shops selling their wares & many restaurants & pubs were just steps away. Edinburgh castle was about 5-10 mins walk. I say this as it's on an incline & the streets are cobbled so could take longer to walk if you have mobility or breathing issues. We chose a suite with city views & although it was cosy it had a small kitchenette with fridge, microwave & even washing up liquid. There was a built in wardrobe with a long mirror & a safe. The bed & pillows were really comfortable & the rainfall shower was perfect. Toiletries were L'occitane & the towels were big & soft. The staff on reception were very hospitable & they also offered luggage storage. Fraser Suites are perfect for a short or long stay.
