Destiny Scotland - The Rutland Residence

Just returned from a one night stay at Rutland Residence and can’t recommend the accommodation enough. This was a last minute trip for 3 adults and 2 children and we were assigned apartment 4 and given details on how to access apartments and parking via email. On arrival we couldn’t access the car park but a quick call to the number provided and we were parked up. No problem with the access to apartments and in we went. Apartment 4 is up a few flight of stairs so do be aware there is no lift. On entering we found a really spacious and clean apartment plenty big enough for the 5 of us. We had 2 bedrooms, 1 en suite and both had huge beds. A large clean bathroom with toiletries provided. The lounge was huge and the tv had the full Sky package so movies and sports included. WiFi provided and signal was manageable. Kitchen was fully equipped and clean. Not sure whether there was an issue with the heating and the times it was coming on as it seemed to still be quite warm about 2:30am when I woke and then was cool at 9:30am. It is remotely controlled so may need a call to the office to check. We only stayed the one night but would definitely return for a longer stay. The location is brilliant with bars, restaurants and shops all close by and with the apartments being set back off the main road we didn’t hear any outside noise. We did hear the people above moving around and people coming in through the main door but nothing too bothersome. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property going on our experience.
