Goodiford Mill

Lovely family break away in the Ottermill lodge.
The location was peaceful and idyllic. We were surrounded by wildlife which was lovely. Having the fishing lake about 2 minutes walk was perfect.
The lodge was very cosy and well equipped as well as being clean and tidy upon our arrival. The TV was a smart TV which meant we could log into our Netflix etc and watch a movie but there was also a DVD player which was great.
Having the hot tub to relax in after a long dog walk each day was the icing on the cake.
The staff were very welcoming and helpful, even happy to post us back some items we had left in the lodge.
Would definitely visit again.

Cabins are really clean, WC and kitchen are spotless it's a credit to the team there.
The welcome couldn't be better, really friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. Fishing is great and just an all round relaxing place to rest and enjoy. Plus a local supermarket and tackle shop within a 5min drive, close enough to be convenient but far enough to give you peace.

Loved our first visit to devon and our wonderful stay at goodiford mill. 
I stayed with my hubby and 2 children aged 8 and 11. 
The staff were so lovely and the lodge was perfect.
We stayed in hedgehog lodge and loved the open plan living. The lodge was spotless. The hot tub was fab and was maintained throughout our weeks stay. 
By far the cleanest one we have had and we have stayed in lots of lodges with hot tubs. 
So peaceful here with nothing but a fishing lake on site and lots of lovely places i n driving distance.
Would definitely recommend here❤️

Lovely lodge and hot tub, staff were amazing and helpful, aas a little hard to order takeaway and shopping g but did manage it in the end, lakes are lovely and would happily go back again (will bring fishing gear next time), nearest shop is like 10 mins In car but walk is just as lovely

So peaceful even with three children, we relaxed, used the wonderful hottub, went for walks, did a little fishing, watched movies. Not the best WiFi which made us all just chill, we stayed in beaver the lodge is cosy and warm, the beds are really comfortable and the kitchen has everything from bin bags to washing up liquid, towels were included which was great, was very clean. Already looking to book again.

What a lovely lodge very spacious the staff are lovely everything you could want hot tub cooking equipment went there for christmas def visit again fishing lakes well worth a visit dishwasher in lodges a bonus 

Such an amazing tranquil place with the luxury of a cosy log cabin a comfortable bed and a hot tub to top it all off 
Paul and Suzanne were so friendly and helpful nothing was to much trouble all facilities were spot on towels and bedding included what more could you ask for ........peace and quiet? Well you get that too I will definitely be back thank you for the best place to relax I've found 

We stayed in the badger lodge. The lodge was a great size, clean, up-to-date and had everything we needed. 
The beds were sooo comfy! The bathroom was a good size with a lovely shower.
No signal will EE, WiFi great on night one but didn't work on night two..didn't bother us as wasn't needed.
Our boy loved spending time in the hot tub.
Would definitely recommend a visit and would love to return.


This is now our 4th or 5th time at Goodiford mill. The cabins are lovely, have everything you need to stay for the whole duration, the owners are on hand with any queries. I love the fact it’s a place to relax and unwind. We stayed in woodpecker. It was perfect. Would we stay again… YES.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Foxy Mill Lodge, the location is secluded great for an escape which is what we were after. The staff were lovely and checked the hot tub each day, the lakes are really pretty and it was easy to find your way around.

Wonderful stay in Otter Mill Lodge
We took our dog Duke for a long weekend and had an amazing time. The cabin had everything we needed and was clean and tidy. The hot tub was soooooo good and really relaxing, we used it when it got dark.
Really didn't want to come home and will definitely visit again.

Relaxing weekend

Just got back from a weekend at this place and I am so missing it already. Everything about it was amazing. We stayed in Foxey Mill cabin, the smallest of the log cabins but it was big enough for the two of us. The hot tub was amazing, lovely to get into after a lazy day of doing nothing. Thank you everso much for a brilliant relaxing weekend. We can't wait to come back same time next year. 

Amazing cabin, hot tub and place. 

Well what can I say? We have just returned from a wonderful week at Goodiford Mill for our honeymoon and it was better than imagined. We stayed in the Otter Mill Lodge, it was beautiful, spotless, well equipped and really looked after. The beds were incredibly comfortable, a lovely bath with really hot water with really fast water pressure which was a surprise for a log cabin! The WiFi was surprisingly fast too, we even streamed a couple of films. The hot tub was brilliant and was checked every day by the incredible friendly and helpful team. We even got a bottle of bubbly as a wedding gift on arrival! We originally had a holiday abroad booked but honestly after a week here, we couldn't have asked for a better honeymoon! Thank you so much to the team, we can't wait to see you next year! ❤️
