The White Horse Blakeney

Everything was great at this hotel.  Would recommend. There were a lot of guests on return visits which is always a good sign 😊

We were thoroughly spoilt by all staff for my husbands 60th birthday! An exceptional stay and we look forward to returning again. Have already booked for two further stays

The White Horse is perfect place to stay for a short break in North Norfolk.
Efficient welcoming staff creating a relaxing atmosphere. 

Well decorated rooms and bathrooms with a very comfortable bed so slept really well. Wonderful view from our room over Blakeney Marshes to the sea. 
Delicious breakfast with lots of choice for either continental or cooked.
Radiator in our room didn’t work so substituted with a small portable one which as it was a couple of the coldest days of the didn’t warm the room enough.
Other than that we couldn’t fault the White Horse at all and had a lovely stay.

We had an excellent stay at the White Horse.  All the staff were welcoming and friendly and our room ( superior double) was larger than we expected. Very clean and comfortable. Delicious food, well presented and breakfast was freshly cooked. A quiet scenic location but great as a base for travelling round Norfolk. Great to be able to park at the White Horse too.


I had such a wonderful stay at the white horse. The receptionist took my bag straight to my room, and was met with such a warm welcome. The room was cosy and quiet, and came with a variety of teas and biscuits. The bathroom was wonderful and came with nice soaps. And also a great breakfast of scrambled eggs and salmon. Couldn’t recommend this place more!!

Blakeney is a fabulous location. Our room at the White Horse was comfortable, clean and tidy with great view overlooking the harbour (room 9 !). The service from all staff was excellent throughout and the evening meal was delicious meal. Thanks to everyone in the team 🙏

A simple menu, great tasting food. My family and I booked lunch at The White Horse. The staff were friendly and attentive, and provided good service throughout the meal. The pub is also dog friendly. We’ve eaten here in previous years and will return again based on our most recent experience.

Location was spot on right near the quay side , walks & places to see nearby . Our room was cozy , clean & comfortable. Breakfast was so good. A really nice place for a get away in Norfolk close to all the places we wanted to visit. Hotel restaurant was good , we were able to sit outside for drinks as weather was dry. We didn’t have a dog but other guests did and they were all well behaved as the whole hotel is dog friendly which is nice. 

Was not expecting such a fantastic stay, the place is perfect, superior room very big winding stays which could hinder some people. Excellent meal and service, great breakfast, great location, car parking and fantastic breakfast. Would definitely return.

A really really lovely place to stay
 We went for a two nights just before the end of the summer holidays for some time to connect as a family and it was just perfect. We can't wait to go back again without our daughter.

Perfect Norfolk Stay

We managed to book the last room for our Saturday/Sunday night visit.  A small but very comfortable room with large bathroom, looking onto the High Street.  We ate in the restaurant on the first night, very attentive staff and food good.  Excellent choices at breakfast and good service.  All in all a most enjoyable stay in one of our favourite places and only a short downhill amble to the Quay.  It was also the late summer high tide and the first time I have seen the water spilling onto the road.
