32 reviewsFrom the moment my young lurcher and I walked in we were made to feel more welcome than anywhere I've stayed before. The locals helped me with the pup whilst we came in from the rain. Me carrying his bed and overnight bag, the pup doing his best to rip my arm off and get out of the rain! Dirk the landlord took my bag up and I lost the pup to a friendly bunch for the time it took to sort out the rest of the bits. Perfect relax in the bar last night with couple of pints on comfy sofas with great music and conversation if you want it but also space to chill if you don't. Large comfy double room. Huge bathroom (perfect for dog bed). A most excellent breakfast by Dirk this morning. Post breakfast a mooch along the blue rock trail in the forest was just what we needed and we were on our way..... would definitely stay here agsin. A proper Inn with real people and a fabulously friendly atmosphere. Thank you Dirk and Co....Louise and Diesel x
