Really high quality hotel with excellent food and friendly, professional staff. The hotel is very comfortable and immaculately clean. There are log fires, lit for the whole day and nice touches like coats and wellies available if you want to go walking. The food is absolutely top notch! A relaxed restaurant atmosphere and really attentive staff helps too. One issue- we paid extra for a room with a walk-in shower and unfortunately the shower couldn’t be used for longer than a few minutes as the drain was blocked. We reported it but they were unable to fix ‘on the spot’. Understandable but a shame. Highly recommend though!
