Premier Inn Portsmouth North Harbour

This is a very nice hotel located close to Portsmouth Harbour.  We travelled from France by car ferry and wanted a hotel not too far away to rest overnight.  This is an excellent hotel, very friendly and efficient staff, good room, plenty of car parking.  Despite being close to a main road, it was very quiet in our room  Meals were in the Beefeater pub next door.  Again very friendly and helpful staff, with good food for both dinner and breakfast.  Happy to recommend this hotel.

 Very convenient for the ferry . Stopped here on our way to family after docking in Portsmouth from Spain. Clean warm room comfortable bed very helpful and friendly staff. We didn't arrive until late so the restaurant next door was closed but there are fast food outlets up the road . 

You really can't grumble, I paid less than £60 for a comfortable stay.

The staff were really friendly and there is a Beefeater right next door for dinner and breakfast

You know, pretty much, what you're going to get when you book a Premier Inn; and this was no exception.  I stayed one Friday night, for work, and was pleased with the value for money.  Premier Inns can be a little expensive for my liking, in which case I tend to use Travelodge, but this was priced competitively so it suited me just fine, as you usually get a bit more quality and a better standard of cleanliness than at a Travelodge.
There is a large free car park, but remember to log your registration at reception.  The room was clean and comfortable - a little bit worn in places, but nothing to moan about.  The air conditioning/heater fan was a bit noisy, so I switched that off overnight, but apart from that the hotel was quiet inside and out and I had a good night's sleep.
The shower was good, but it is over quite a high-sided bath, so if your mobility isn't the best you might struggle a bit.
The food offering is a Beefeater, right next door, but when I arrived (about 6.30pm) I was told there were no tables available until after 8 o'clock, so I actually went to the other Premier Inn, right across the road, and ate in their Thyme restaurant, which was fine.  I didn't have time for breakfast in the morning, so I can't comment on that.
All in all, a good stay, well priced on this occasion, and I would stay here again if in the area and the price remained competitive.

Perfect overnight stay and close to ferry port, supermarket and restaurants.  The room was equipped with everything you need, comfy and warm. Will def book again. Staff very helpful and check in was very easy and quick. 

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times as it is perfect for access to the ferry which brings us home. We always opt for this Premier as it has a bath not just a shower. The Beefeater next door always provides a sensible menu at reasonable prices and very friendly service.

6 minutes from port, ideal location with restaurant facilty attached to the hotel. Comfortable, clean and spacious rooms.  Friendly staff and very good price for what you get. Would not hesitate to return.

Excellent hotel for location to the Port, cleanliness, comfort and price.
Be aware that there are two Premier Inn hotels, one either side of the road….I found the directions given by the hotel to be confusing and ended up trying to book into the wrong one.
Other than that, I had a very nice stay and was well rested to continue the rest of my journey to the ferry port and home to France the next day.

Nice clean room. Everything we needed. Plenty big enough for 2 adults and 1 child. Lovely food. Friendly helpful staff. Nice distance from Portsmouth. Good price for the stay and food. 
Little noise when in bed from what we think were water pipes but not overly an issue

From the first contact with staff as I entered the hotel. I was greated with a warm welcome. I found all staff very friendly. Willing to meet my needs and extremely polite. I got to my room and Iwas quite surprised by the size and the fact it looked so modern. Everything that I could possibly need was there and I had a great stay

Excellent hotel close to Portsmouth Harbour

Again, another Premier Inn that does what it says on the tin. Fabulous value with a spotlessly clean room, very comfortable bed, tea/coffee facilities in room and cheerful, professional staff. Only about 5 mins from the Ferry port so was ideally located for us. The room was surprisingly quiet considering how close to the motorway it was. Will definitely be staying here again.

Friendly and quick check in. It was nice to receive a phonecall the day before asking if we needed the hotel to book an evening meal or breakfast. Although we didn’t need to, it was the only time a Premier Inn has done this.
