The Red House

The Red House is very attractive, in a great location to explore Falmouth town and beaches on foot. The rooms are well appointed and individually styled. Comfortable bed, plenty of space and great shower room facilities. The owners are very helpful and friendly, also offering a great breakfast. Thank you for a lovely stay.

This was our first time staying in a guest house and we were not disappointed. Nick and Karen were very welcoming, they had thought of everything, the room had a smart tv, a smart speaker, a Nespresso machine. The rooms were very clean and were serviced everyday. The location was perfect, near the station, the town and local beaches. We had a lovely stay, thank you.

This little unassuming hotel was so much better than I expected. We only stayed one night and didn’t have breakfast, but we shall certainly be back. Our room was clean and fresh with modern furnishings. The basin was in the room which was a little unusual, but we really didn’t mind. What I loved was the little extras. A pot with cotton wool and cotton buds in, big quality towels, a mirror above the desk area with a chair, so you can actually see yourself.  A small make up mirror, a small bottle of fresh milk, a coffee machine, a cork screw and wine glasses. A variety of refreshments in the fridge that aren’t over priced.  So many small things that bigger and more expensive hotels just don’t bother with. This hotel is a real gem.

The spotless room was beautifully decorated 
and the hosts were so helpful, kind and made a fuss of my Golden Retriever.

Friendly hosts, the place is spotless, very easy parking and with easy walking distance to both Falmouth town centre and Gyllyngvase Beach.  They also served a great breakfast with specials of the day. 👍😎

As I work in Quality Assurance (I know - boring) customer satisfaction is exceptionally important to me. The red house provided this and more in abundance!! Lovely friendly owners, excellent service, perfect rooms and facilities, always made sure they greeted you in the morning even if you didn’t have breakfast. Gave you top tips for where to visit and traffic issues to avoid. Even as a frequent visitor to the area I was made aware of new places to go and see. I think It’s the little things that count, fresh milk for your tea/coffee, good quality toiletries including hand cream (with all this hand sanitisation in shops this was very welcome). and hair conditioner. Breakfast was to die for, couldn’t finish it but had to leave room for the home made jams and marmalades (lemon,lime and tequila 😋😋).keep up the great work guys, we’ll certainly be back 👍

We booked up to go to a wedding at the castle which was in walking distance.  Absolutely beautiful place to stay, rooms are immaculate, well maintained and nothing is too much trouble for the hosts.  The attention to detail is fantastic from beautiful shower products and hand wash, Alexa in the room plus a coffee machine.  Everything is high quality.  Clearly run by people with a passion for hospitality.  Frankly we’ve paid a lot more in other places that come nowhere near these standards.  To top it off a perfectly cooked breakfast that shouldn’t be missed.

Made to feel very welcome after a last minute mix up meant we were desperately looking for a nights stay somewhere. A short walk to the beach was perfect.

Beautiful place to stay

We returned from our trip to Falmouth with friends. The red house was very tastefully decorated and very clean. Our rooms were lovely with a comfortable bed and well equipped with a mini bar, coffee machine and kettle. The tea and coffee were replenished every day. It is also in an excellent location for the beeches and a short walk to the harbour and cafes and restaurants. 
I can’t comment on breakfast because due to breakfast in room only we personally decided it would be too restrictive for us to eat in comfort.
The owners Karen and Nick were very welcoming and helpful and would definitely stay again if we returned to Falmouth

Fabulous place to stay

The Red House B&B was a fantastic place to stay in every way really. The location was ideal, just a short walk to any the harbour, the beach, the town centre, the local attractions etc.

The room was a lovely, tidy and comfortable en-suite with plenty of clothing storage space, a fridge, desk and chair, hairdryer etc. The B&B was very tidy at all times and had everything we needed and wanted.

Our hosts were very friendly every time we spoke to them, a warm welcome, little bits of information about local areas and just generally very pleasant people (as was everyone we spoke to in the whole of Cornwall!). They provided good communication before our arrival on things such as check in info, COVID policy, temperature check, changes to breakfast due to COVID restrictions (we didn’t have breakfast but we were made fully aware of how the B&B was offering breakfast given the circumstances, which seemed to me to be a happy compromise).

Overall, a great place to stay for a really enjoyable week away in Falmouth.

The property felt covid safe with precautions and
everything was well explained and organised.
The room and en-suite was clean, spacious
and modern
The breakfast was gorgeous, plenty of choice;
nice alternatives to a traditional english breakfast
and were happy to accommodate vegetarian/
vegan options which was really nice
There was a mini-fridge with some cans etc
which was a nice touch and reasonable prices
Would love to come back to Cornwall on holiday
and would definitely recommend this B&B and its
owners.
