This is by far the best lodge we have stayed in,  hot tub sauna what more could you want?  Everything was spotlessly clean when we arrived,  hot tub was checked every day.  Everything was there that you needed the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and plenty of saucepans etc.  
would recommend staying g here to anyone.  So peaceful we didn’t leave the site all weekend.

Another amazing stay at the lodges…nothing is too much trouble for this lovely family run business!!  Can’t wait to come back and stay again! Lovely central location and surrounded by gorgeous walks right on the doorstep! I highly recommend!!!!

A beautiful peaceful quiet place to relax and unwind. Lovely views with pleasant walks. Fabulous hot tub and comfortable spacious accommodation. We’re visited here twice and we will definitely be visiting her again in the future. It’s so worth a visited …..

We had a wonderful relaxing stay, very clean and comfortable place, in the countryside so very quiet and wonderful staff. I recommend the cabins for all everything you need is provided and plenty of things to do near by or just enjoy a quiet stay on the farm.

We’ve just got back from a lovely week away, 2 adults, 3 children (2,5 and 7) and 2 dogs. The lodge was absolutely beautiful, very clean (one little issue was the bathroom did have a strong smell of drains, which we did raise, but wasn’t of major concern to us) 
The new decking was lovely and the hot tub was fab, we all really enjoyed it. 
The field was well kept and the games room was an added bonus for the kids. 
The lady on reception was so friendly and welcoming! 
We would definitely stay here again, it was a perfect week away for a lovely break over Easter with the family xx

Wonderful break in a lovely lodge.
The setting is very quiet and relaxing.
Everything you need is in the lodge including a dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine.
The hot tub is a nice touch.
Very helpful staff especially Sarah.
Its so nice to visit a family run business with personal servicerather than the big companies that treat you like a number 

2nd amazing stay here, just a wonderful Lodge in tranquil surroundings. Beds are so comfy, sauna and hot tub make it really special, truly feel like your spoiling yourselves. Loved that my two small dogs could come with, as its their holiday too!!

The cabin was fabulous. Very clean and had everything we needed. Sauna great as was the hot tub. We were in 1 bed Cedar lodge. Very quiet and private which was what we were looking for.  Views were beautiful. No doubt will come back soon. 

We stayed here for a long weekend. Five friends. We had stayed the previous year and thoroughly enjoyed it. We  can't fault anything it's a lovely place to stay and the lodges are beautiful. They have everything you need for a relaxing break away. 

This place was perfect! We wanted a few days away to chill out and we really did! The cabins are what feels like in the middle of nowhere, no noise! The cabin is of an exceptionally high standard , beautifully clean and the kitchen has everything you could need! The favourite part for me was the hot tub! I would definitely return.

Relaxing lodge experience in a rural location

Fabulous peaceful break!

Absolutely beautiful cabin very warm inside too comfy beds plenty of towels kitchen kitted out well only need to take Wasing up liquid tea towel and extra bin bags. We all enjoyed the hot tub kids absolutely loved the games room there and the big field too lots of walking around the area nothing for miles which we loved will be back again 

Relaxing weekend 

Me and hubby have been here 3 times before. 
Now a family of four, we thought we’d take a visit with our 10 month old and 3 year old boys. 
What a great time we all had. Beautiful cabin, so clean and everything you need. We made use of the games room and the country side walks. The hot tub is an added extra, to relax in, in the evening.
Thank you Athelington Hall, we will be back again. And will highly recommend ☺️

The best time 

Comfortable, well-equipped cabin. Lovely hot tub. Small, quiet site with good spacing between cabins. Really clear communication before and during our stay.  Loved being away from it all. The network of single track roads for miles in all directions was not always easy to navigate and made trips to the coast and towns longer than we'd expected but added to the adventure. A slight disappointment was the marketing as being on a working farm. We've stayed on working farms previously and loved getting close to the animals and farming activities. Here, there is no access to the farm itself so no animals and no "farm experience". We appreciate that this was a misunderstanding on our part and the references to being on a  working farm were about preparing us for a little farm traffic and associated noise (which we barely noticed). 

An away-from-it-all quiet break

These log cabin holidays are fab for all the family, we have just arrived home from a lovely birthday/anniversary break with our children and family, lovely and cosy, decorated with banners,balloons and petals on bed on arrival plus flowers, so relaxing and peaceful, our children enjoyed the games room, the pizza van (Suffolk wild flour) which comes on site Saturday lovely pizza and garlic bread enjoyed by all, hot tub was enjoyed by everyone, it’s a home from home, we return every year normally January time, highly recommended as you won’t be disappointed 😁😁

Fabulous break away 😁😁

We like to have a local weekend lodge break 3 or 4 times a year, Primrose 1 at Athelington Hall lodges is probably one of best for value for money whilst still maintaining the luxury. Communication was second to none, friendly and incredibly informative, including details of availability to order from the Suffolk Wild Flour Pizza bar visiting the lodges, amazing... try it if you get the opportunity. Hot tub, sauna, utilities all superb as per previous reviews. My only negative, and it is a small one is no plug near a mirror to dry hair and no TV in bedroom.
