Pelham Hall Bed & Breakfast

oh my gosh where to start! we have just got home from a relaxing 2 night stay ( 6th - 8th May )in this beautiful, historical medieval B & B in the beautiful village of Burwash, From the very first moment Mathew opens the huge ancient front door you feel very special and your comfort is all important to him , after a tour and brief history of the hall we were show to the Labrador suite, stunning room on split levels with meticulous decor, hand made wallpaper, view of the garden and hills, tea and fresh coffee to be drunk from porcelain cups, pottery tea pot warm home made cookies ( to die for ) Eco products in bathroom. The cosiest quilt and luxury linen on a huge comfy bed. After having a nice walk and meal in local pub we came back to find the bed ready and hot water bottles for extra cosy ness, Breakfast was a real delight, home made berry granola and a Spanish baked egg dish one day and fluffy american pancakes with maple syrup the next. Mathew is the perfect host nothing is to much trouble and his local knowledge was very useful for evening walks. we will definitely go back again. Thank you both for a very memorable weekend.
