A much needed relaxing stay in Pine Lodge.  What a tranquil spot and so close to the beautiful village of Easingwold.  The lodge was very comfortable, but could be improved by upgrading the dining table to a small round one.  If the weather is no good for eating outside, the current table is far too small for plates, glass and / or cup! The hot tub was perfect and much appreciated. We used the local Indian takeaway and the food was excellent, delivered to the gate piping hot.  Can also recommend the George Hotel.  Food choices are vast and all home cooked to perfection. Thank you Pam and Pete and we wish Pete the best of health with his new knees!

Had a wonderful relaxing weekend here with family.  Not a lot to do on site but made no difference.  We did visit York on Saturday rained all day and still had a smashing time there. Brilliant place to start your trips out and about Ripon. Thirsk just a short distance away.  The lodge itself was spacious Clean and Warm with a large hot tub which was put to good use and the weather didn't put us off. Only problem is the drive off the main road to the lodge which is no fault of the owners of hollybrook lodge.  Can say that we will definitely be back this time in the summer when you could sit out side and enjoy the wildlife and the countryside view. 

We stayed in ash lodge , 4th-8th dec ,went for a peaceful quiet break. and i have to say it was the most relaxing break we have had. nice welcome from the owners.

there is everything you need to know in the welcome folder....and a folder in the kitchen drawer with all the instructions for the oven ,dishwasher ect.
kitchen well equipped ...smart TV in the room ...TV in bedroom ..
super king size bed that i found so comfortable
shower is brilliant !...
Hot tub a nice size and clean !..so private too!!
however the best thing was....we found ash lodge to be the cleanest lodge we have ever stayed in ..and we've stayed in a lot!
everywhere is immaculate..and do mean that ...
Yes the road too Hollybrook lodges is a little bumpy ..not lodge owner fault
just take it steady and its fine ...not much more to add that hasnt  been said ..we will be back !



I really can't add anything more than what's already been written and thats all been positive, it's just what my party wanted a quiet, peaceful relaxing chillout. York is only a short distance away( Rawclifffe P&R) is the best.
Pam & Pete are  very friendly  owners, nothing is too much trouble, the lodge we stayed in was spotlessly clean and the best tribute i can say is that we'd come back again.. Thank you Pam & Pete.

Just back from a lovely week away at Hollybrook Lodges, we stayed in the Holly lodge. It was a perfect location to explore wonderful Yorkshire and I have to say Pam and Pete are simply fantastic hosts, very warm welcome (including the surprise basket!) checked that we where ok regularly, such a friendly couple. 
The lodge was spotless, very spacious with everything you need. Hot tubs private and plenty of space to enjoy. 

If you haven’t been and thinking of where to visit whilst in Yorkshire, check Hollybrook out!

What a fantastic find Hollybrook Lodges have been!!! 
From the very warm welcome from Pam and Pete on arrival, to the Welcome Pack waiting for you (which was such a lovely touch), to the fabulous hot tub, what more can you ask for. We stayed in Ash Lodge, which was spotlessly clean and had everything that you could possibly need and more to make your stay the best possible. The information book in the lodge contains lots of useful information on places to visit and eat etc.  We would highly recommend the Bay Tree Inn at Stillington, where the food and hospitality was second to none. We just wish we could have stayed longer than the weekend at Hollybrook as it is so peaceful and the perfect place for complete relaxtion. We will definitley return. Thank you very much Pam and Pete and enjoy your very well deserved break when it comes round.

Take care going down the lane to the lodge . Drive slow as it is part farm track BUT a few bumps in the road is definitely worth putting up with to get to the Fantastic Hollybrook lodges. We were met by Pam &  Pete who were both great hosts who both will give you top tips as to where to visit or places to eat. 
We stayed in the 1 bed Pine Lodge and it was perfect for just me & my wife - The site was full but quiet - There's only about 8 lodges on the site. All are fitted with hot tubs which Pete tests , tops up etc every day . All are positioned in their own private space. No tub overlooks another. Pine Lodge is perfect size for 2 people - The living room was comfy with smart tv -( There is an extra wifi code for the tv to boost the signal if you use your netflix /prime codes  - we didnt use that but I believe you just ask Pete or Pam )- The basic wifi was more than enough to run my tablet and our 2 phones ran ok off their own wifi as we had a decent signal.  
The kitchen was well equipped - we used the oven only once but it was fine - The gas hob was great for cooking breakfasts. There is a dishwasher but as there were only 2 of us and we only cooked breakfasts we just washed up.  
There  was a welcome gift basket of a bottle of fizz and a few snacks - Pam reminded us  not to use glasses in the hot tub - there were plastic wine and prosecco glasses available as well as glass ones when we were relaxing in the lodge.
The bedroom is big - A comfy Super King bed and a large sliding door mirrored wardrobe 
Iron board / hairdryer available in the bedroom
Loads of extra sockets are in the lodge for chargers etc  
The bathroom has been tiled unlike the old photo on hoseasons site and new flooring installed. It looks great. 
The hoseasons photo shows a bath but doesnt show the large walk in shower cubicle which looks relatively new or refurbished ? 
We visited several places during our week here - a day in york - Park & ride 15 minutes drive - Leeds shopping  - 50 minutes drive ., Malton - great for foodie shops - about 30 mins drive - Easingwold - 25 minutes walk with a couple of great pubs in the centre  The George was our fave - fantastic sunday lunch and evening meals If going here book in advance on their website as it is busy.. - Also a couple of coffee and cake type  shops which were good . We spent a day at Whitby - 1hr 15 mins drive - Pete recommended us to  try Trenchers fish and chip restaurant near the bus station - we were not disappointed - Chips cooked the proper way - using beef dripping ! All in all we had a great week topped off by being able to stay in one of the best lodge sites ever. THANKYOU Pam & Pete! WE WILL BE BACK! 

A very easy full marks for me. We booked late July in anticipation of nice weather but sunny spells were few and far between. Luckily this didn't dampen a lovely 5 days. We stayed in the Rowan lodge which felt modern, comfy and was easy to relax in. The hot tub was superb, we used it everyday and the I really liked the consistency in the oven, sometimes hard to get right in such settings. Friendly hosts with plenty of local knowledge.

Lovely break in a fantastic surrounding. Lodges were very clean and contained everything you’d need. Very nice touch with the welcome basket.
Many places are easy to get to and lots of great places locally to eat.
Pete and Pam are great hosts. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Just returned from a weeks stay at Hollybrook lodges, and wow what a great find! We stayed in Ash Lodge which was very modern and immaculate throughout. The small complex was very quiet and tranquil and the owners Pam and Pete could not do enough for us, they gave us plenty of honest advice on where to visit and eat.
Highly recommend the George hotel in the village for food and drinks, the Sunday roast was probably the best we have had, but would recommend booking as very popular. There is a great Indian takeaway called the Banyan Tree which delivered to the front gate of the complex. The position of the complex is very central to all the popular attractions, Sutton bank for great views and walks, both York and Knaresborough just 25 mins away and recommend a drive across the north York moors.
We would definitely recommend Hollybrook lodges to all our family and friends, and look forward to a return visit, thank you once again Hollybrook lodges.

Ash Lodge

We had booked the sycamore lodge and it looks better than the pictures. We arrived a little bit early but it caused no problem for the owners. They greeted us at the gate and were really nice, laidback people. 

We unpacked and sat on the patio which was nice, then were greeted by the star of the show, little fergie. He kept us entertained for ages with his friendliness and intelligence. 

The lodge was clean and welcoming. It was lovely to be able just jump in and out of the hot tub when we felt like it because it was constantly warm. They even had towelled robes for rent if needed. 

We wanted a relaxing weekend break and that’s exact what we got.
