Good clean room friendly staff very quiet plenty of tea and coffee and milk to hand nice easy check in and check out. We always pick this travelodge when we go to see the in-laws and never had any problems x would def recommend. 

Stay here fairly regularly and is a very clean and friendly travelodge, today Vaughan was the receptionist who was very polite, friendly and welcoming as are the other staff members I have me before, the best experience is getting a Lakeside view which today was great with the sun and blue skies, I would definitely recommend this as a good stay in Doncaster

Vaughan was an absolute pleasure, the drive over was hell but he instantly lifted my mood and really made the whole experience. 
Brilliant view, and a very comfy room.

Will recommend and definitely stay here again! 

Had a great stay at lakeside yet again. The receptionist Vaughan went above and beyond to welcome us. The room was clean and bed super comfy. Could do with more plug sockets nearer the bed though. Overall excellent stay and will be back.

I have stayed at Travel Lodge Doncaster Lakeside 5 times over the last 2 months. I was amazed that Vaughan on reception remembered my name after a 3 week gap since I was last here. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, the staff are friendly and helpful and the views of the lake are lovely.

Can't fault the staff made me feel welcome and didn't look their noses down at us during our stay very polite specially the fabulous gentleman with glasses on reception show respect and love and you'll get it back been a massive help such a kind hearted man 

Over looking lake which you could walk around. Close to outlet village where we went shopping. Close to the venue where we attended a party. Comfortable beds and had a good night's sleep. Clean rooms. Very quiet. Polite staff. Great price.

The hotel offered basic  but comfortable and clean accommodation . We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and the receptionist was more than happy to make sure that  as we were a group of friends travelling together we were given rooms next door to each other.Will definitely be using hotel again when we have a return visit.

Good friendly welcoming hotel

Nothing much to report at this Travelodge, as it was all as you would expect without being anything special.  The location is quite pleasant, within a business/office estate, next to a lake (hence Lakeside).  It is quiet at night and there is a decent free car park (if you register at reception) There's no Travelodge cafe bar, but within the same building there is a Subway "restaurant"/takeaway and, although not open when I stayed, a bar and there's  a new pizza restaurant opening soon.  I used the McDonalds, a two minute drive away, but quite a long walk.
The room and bathroom were satisfactorily clean and in good condition. Quiet and comfortable.  Not the most powerful shower ever, but fine.
Overall, a decent stay and I would return if in the area and the tarrif was acceptable.

Fine for a short stay

This is a really good budget hotel.  Clean, comfortable & a beautiful view over the lakeside from most of the rooms.  Only criticism is the room was very warm (heating off entirely & in middle of winter) but the water for a bath was barely lukewarm and had to top it up with a kettle, and this was for our 7 month old so we didn't want it hot at all.

Easy to find, room 215 has  excellent views over the lake would be nice for walks round the lake especially when it's warmer, walking distance for eating and drinking places, whole area has several beautiful lakes

Great views

Great hotel great location for visiting Doncaster and surrounding area . Good value for money , pet friendly , food and shopping outlets nearby so lack of restaurant not an issue . Noisy door closer issues need addressing
