Lady Gate Guest Lodge

We stayed here in a double en-suite room on a friend’s recommendation and were very pleased. It’s good value for money, especially considering the high cost of other local options. The staff were very friendly both at check in and every morning for breakfast, which we were able to preorder to our own preferences. The room was a nice size and well kept and the shower was lovely. The bed was comfortable and the room came with a kettle and a small tray of tea and coffee facilities. The village is lovely and it’s got easy access by car to both Nottingham and Derby. It’s worth booking direct with the company rather than going through an outside agency as the owners will be able to ensure you get the best deal.
