Absolutely loved our stay, the owners are very nice and the house was lovely 😍. Our breakfast basket that was delivered to our room was perfect. Easily walkable to the town to get food or shop and the view of the track was beautiful. There is a bus stop right in front of you don't want to drive to Edinburgh. Highly recommend and hopefully we will get to stay again in the future. Thank You for a wonderful night!

We had such a wonderful stay at Arden House. Alice and Kevin were so welcoming and made us feel right at home — the kind of personal touch you don’t often find in most hotel chains.We stayed in the family room, which was perfect for our group — my mom, my husband, and me. The room was beautiful, spacious, and had a stunning view that made our stay even more special. Breakfast each morning was excellent — fresh, delicious, and clearly prepared with care. It was the perfect start to our days.The whole atmosphere at Arden House feels warm and welcoming. We felt very well looked after, and everything from the comfort of the room to the quality of the food reflected real thoughtfulness.Thank you for making our time in Edinburgh/Musselburgh so memorable!

Everything was perfect about this property. It was in a great location, bus stop literally at the door. On street parking without issue.The premises themselves were lovely. Very spacious, tasteful but modern interior with comfortable beds & a very flash bathroom (in our family room). We also had a beautiful view of the golf course and racecourse to wake up to. The continental breakfasts were HUGE and very tasty. Lovely to have them served piping hot straight to your door. The staff were also very accommodating when I asked if we could have some extra crockery and cutlery in case our teenagers got hungry during the evenings, as we had some of our own food supplies with us. Speaking of staff, I have the greatest appreciation for our hostess Alice. Her communications were first class and she showed genuine interest in our family and our holiday. She was also a great source of information regarding sightseeing in Edinburgh, public transport etc. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she made special efforts to make our stay comfortable. She arranged a refrigerator access for us to put our cold stuff in. On our second night, unbeknownst to us, our shower had started to leak a little down a wall below. Very unfortunate but just one of those things. Alice supplied another bathroom we could use directly across from our room, and she also gave us access to the room next door as a way to compensate us for the inconvenience, which our sons appreciated having their own room.

Room lovely-all with all amenities as required. Lots to do in area, buses into city on doorstep.

Alice was so welcoming when we arrived and breakfast delivered to the door was great, the choices were well suited to my appetite and carried me through the day.

Beautiful Golf Course and Horse Race Course view.  Very easy to get to with a bus stop right in n front of the hotel.  Great fresh cooked breakfast brought to room each day.  Very friendly host.  Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful views and cozy room. A stay to remember!

Ideal location for marathon

The room and hosts are first rate.  Personable and friendly reception.  Added extras are the book with dining suggestions and an optional cooked breakfast, which though pricy is well worth the cost. The room we were in was superb - very comfortable and elegant.  You could willingly cancel you outing plans and just relax there and enjoy the outstanding view.  Additionally, there was easy access to nearby restaurants & public transport.  We will most certainly return. 

Great place to rest for Edinburgh visit or anywhere nearby.

This is our second visit to this bed and breakfast, first a few years ago and again last week on way from dufftown to Northumberland. 
Seriously recommend this place , very clean , fantastic breakfast, the family room is amazing. 
Alice is a great host very friendly and helpfull.  Our son Zac loves the resident dog scout. 
Will def return in future

The hotel is opposite the racecourse and 10 minutes from town, we had the room opposite the course, lovely big room, comfy bed, lovely breakfast and a friendly welcome, about 20 minutes from train station and good for buses to Edinburgh, great location for races and Edinburgh, would highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Arden House and would return in a heartbeat.The house is beautifully presented ..comfortable and a home from home .Kevin our host made us very welcome .....ensuring we had all that we needed giving us local information for restaurants etc.We would thoroughly recommend this  accomodation for proximity to the Racecourse which is just opposite and to the local bus service to Edinburgh .Musselburgh itself is within walking distance . So glad we found Arden House ....we will return .

Beautiful Arden House ..not to be missed ...

We were incredibly lucky to find Arden House for our short stay in Edinburgh. Our hosts were very friendly and thoughtful providing loads of assistance from where to eat and how to catch public transport. Their quality of service was exceptional. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Great breakfast. Arden House was easy to locate. We were certainly not disappointed on any aspect of our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our first time in Scotland and the owners were incredibly helpful and attentive.  The property is small but with private baths and a wonderful breakfast.  The major bus stop into Edinburgh was right outside the front door.  It was approximately 40 minutes and cost under 2 pounds.  My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves and are hoping to return next year.
