Just stayed a week here for work purposes.  Rosemary and Pete are excellent hosts.  Nice room, lucky to have a sitting room too.  The views, breakfasts, and all conversations and reminiscences with Pete  - all very good.
This would also be an excellent place for a holiday, walking or touring base for car.

This is a true bed and breakfast, complete with lovely and accommodating hosts who make breakfast and sit and talk with you during the meal, unlike many other B&Bs that offer self-serve breakfast or pay-extra breakfast. It is in a great location, nestled at the foot of Dollar Glen in easy walking distance to the main street of Dollar, with views of Castle Campbell from the dining room! The guest area has a separate entrance, and a living room, bathroom (with a great shower!), and bedroom, all of which are nice. The two single-size beds in the bedroom are not very comfortable, but I think the price reflects this well. The hosts (and their dogs) are really great. Highly recommended!

I stayed here for a very enjoyable night in January and on this occasion brought my husband as we were visiting a family member.  This is a wonderful B&B, it is so relaxing to return to a very comfortable, private sitting room, make a cup of tea and help oneself to a chocolate biscuit and stretch out, either to read some of the excellent tourist information or watch TV. The beds are extremely comfortable with plenty of space in the bedroom and the shower room is warm and spotless.  Breakfast is delicious and it is wonderful to sit and look up at Castle Campbell and use the binoculars to spot the birds. I highly recommend anyone wishing to stay in the area to stay here - Rosie and Pete are excellent hosts, their home is clean and comfortable and Dollar is a very pretty village.

This Bed and Breakfast is a nice place to stay in the country. 30 minutes-ish from Stirling. If you can, you can visit the Campbell Castle up the road (check the opening days).
The B&B offers a nice bed room (2 single beds), a bathroom (shower) and a sitting room ; all private. 
Be aware that owning a car is easier to move out (because outside the city).

Rosie is a very host, really helpful.

Once again a very friendly welcome from Rosie and Pete to their lovely B & B. Comfortable bed and a great Scottish breakfast! A new Sitting Room to relax in is a great addition. We can really recommend Tigh Ur.

Another comfortable stay at Tigh Ur and now the addition of a Sitting Room.It was good to be able to spread outand not remain restricted to a Bedroom only as I was there for two weeks. So it is now like a small flat with private bedroom, sitting room and shower room, all on the ground floor with its own access. It was ideal for me to come and go as I pleased and the Sitting Room is very comfy and has everything one would need, including a small fridge and good internet access. I look forward to my next visit North.

We are back again with the surprise of the new layout. Fantastic space . Great hospitality and veiw from the breakfast table. Space to sit and tack in veiw . Bathroom spotless clean and good towels.
