This was a last minute booking and I wish I’d arranged to stay longer. It was so comfortable and I was well looked after. Extra touches like quality towels, home made preserves and shortbread. I don’t think it will be long till I return. The walks on the beach and the wonderful shower in my room were brilliant. Thank you so much!

Property was lovely.  Room was clean and modern.  Shortbread, water and various teas and coffees available in room.  Owners very friendly.  Hot tub was a great perk.  Breakfast was also excellent.  Fresh fruit, cereals and cooked all available. Lovely home made jams to buy too.  Thoroughly enjoyed our stay

Warm and friendly hostess Julie is definitely in the right business. The guest house was immaculate and her cooked breakfast was immensely tasty and hearty. The room was cosy and quiet. Short walk to the shops and eateries in Leven. Recommended.

Amazing stay in a fab guest house in Leven. The room was very good, bed was very comfy and the shower was excellent. The breakfast was superb. We both had veggie and the sausages and vege haggis was very good. The whole place was very warm. The cats were a hoot. Owners were very friendly and upbeat. Would recommend staying here and would stay in the future. Bus station about 10 mins walk. But there are bus stops to Glenrothes a short walk away. Cheers 😁😁

2 nights in Leven.

Very welcoming place, felt completely at home! Lovely owners, two gorgeous cats, spotlessly clean bedroom and bathroom, great shower, tv and heating were both working perfectly, comfy bed, breakfast was delicious... I couldn't ask for any more! It's an absolute gem especially at that price!! I'll definitely be back in the future! Thank you! x

Absoloutley Amazing stay and a beautiful guest house with a great Host and couple were very friendly and welcoming ..made me feel very comfortable ..great to talk to and easy to be around..the tartan room was amazing and very comfortable with all the ameneties and own bathroom i would definatley recommend this guest house to anyone and i didnt want to leave and will be re visiting

Very friendly owner who provided a warm welcome and for whom nothing was any trouble.The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. Nice touches, such as home made shortbread in the room.Very generous full breakfast as well as fresh fruit, yogurt etc. Also home made jams.Selection of places to eat and drink in the immediate vicinity isn't great, but better places a little further afield.Great location for coastal walks and the beach.

Stayed 3 nights in the Green room. If you book this room, a word of warning. The bed is so comfortable that you are in real danger of missing breakfast. 3 mornings I woke up and was so comfortable I considered skipping breakfast. Glad I didn’t as the food as was everything at The Dunclutha just spot on. Not hard to see why their current rating on here is Excellent.

3 of us friends traveled together and stayed 1 night on our way to the Highlands. The B&B has been beautifully renovated and decorated. We shared a room with 3 comfortable beds. The best homemade shortbread was left for us to snack on. The following morning, Julie made a delicious and very filling breakfast which included an assortment of her homemade jams. I wish we could have stayed longer! The owners have cats but it’s obvious that they are not allowed in the guest bedrooms, as my cat allergies did not bother me. I highly recommend this place.

Julian, a husband Richard are very very wonderful people.. very friendly very open and helpful people. This place is a gem.. to welcoming wonderful kitty cats also they were great and very hospitable.. breakfast was absolutely delicious every day and you could get a traditional, Scottish breakfast or fruit and yogurt and toast and jam and wonderful cereals.. it is really close to the train station there in Leven which took me all the way to Edinburgh and back….Then I went out to St Andrews and it was amazing

Julie, the host, was excellent.  I stayed 8 days. There was a made to order hot breakfast each day.  At the end of a hard day of golf, there was a hot tub in which to relax. The room had everything one needed.  Any problem that arose, Julie solved.  I had a flight schedule change that resulted in needing extra accommodation, which, although she was fully booked, Julie managed to rearrange things to allow me to stay on. If i were back in the area I would definitely stay there. Cannot say enough good things about Julie and the Dunclutha  Guest House.
