Thankfully Hotels.com had advised me that The Crewe Arms Hotel had closed down and we had been reallocated.The receptionist at the Bellair was most helpfull.

The staff were great and helpful. All this while they were dealing with having heard just a few hours before that the hotel was closing.

Great convenient hotel for the train station

Great value, nice room with TV, good bath and shower, good location right next to the train station

Stayed here for the evening with my husband and 2 children and would definitely come back again. Plenty of parking at this hotel, clean and good sized room, friendly staff. Just what you need at a hotel.

Stayed here for one night and was great value for money and excellent location for rail station.Ate in the restaurant and food was superb.Staff all very friendly and helpfulIf you like watching trains from a window then this is a great location.Will stay again in the future

Staff really went out of their way to look after me. Wonderful historic building with very impressive fireplace in reception area and lots of history. Although right opposite the station, I was not aware of noise from trains.

As a Rail Buff, I/we were delighted to be accommodated in a room which overlooked the station. Seeing & hearing the trains was “heaven.”The staff were very helpful & accommodating.We’ve stayed @ this hotel many times in the past & were most disappointed when “stay” for us was banned.A delightful olde world hotel from the past. We felt the LNWR presence from a bygone era! Well done all!Parking was tight, but we managed!

Wonderfully personalized service. Special shout out to Rachael Bickerton & her team who organized a special family event with all of the attention to detail, patience and professional attitude that special family occasions demand. Everyone had a great time and the catering exceeded expectations.

What a lovely hotel, for the great rate I got i was not expecting much, however this is lovely hotel, the rooms cleaned well, fresh looking and well decorated. My room was very big however it was next to the main roundabout and due to the heat in the room i had to leave the window open. I manged to sleep. I would stay here again happily.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel Saturday 20/09/2024 for 1 night , travelling by train which is directly over the road. We arrived at about 09.30 and was greeted by a pleasant women on reception. We left our overnight bag with the hotel and travelled to Nantwich for a pleasant afternoon arriving back about 16.00. We was quickly checked in and was given directions via the lift to room 128. The room was found to be comfortable and warm with a on suite bathroom / shower stocked with everything required. The room and beds were clean and comfortable. We had booked breakfast for the next morning and again was very good with all you could expect. I would definitely stay at these premises again.

Weekend trip to Crewe and day out in Nantwich

Efficient check-in, hotel facilities were very well explained. Despite being older, the hotel was spotless. My room overlooked Crewe station, which for a railway enthusiast like me was ideal. That comes with a lot of noise. There was no double lock on the door and the bathroom door lock was broken I’m a single room this wasn’t an issue. I’d have liked extended mealtimes. I went for dinner at 7:30 and was told they’d stopped taking orders.

The hotel is very large and old, built 1880. The receptionist was friendly and gave us our room key and we were in our room on the first floor within minutes.  We thought we had stepped into a time warp and transported back to 1980. The room decor was old, no bedside table or bed light. The shower was stuck onto the bath taps. We did not like the location of our room, which was at the back of the hotel. There was a constant humming noise coming from outside the window. You could even hear it with the window shut! Was it coming from the hotel fan directly below the window or the noise from the nearby railway station? Our room did not look like any of the pictures on the website before we booked. The evening meal and breakfast were great and the bed was comfortable.

Tired hotel in need of a revamp

Very Nice and clean

Overnight stay for business in the area. Slightly faded standard business hotel next to the station. Room was comfortable with ensuite bathroom and work area. Everything I needed so no complaints.

Very comfortable for a one night stay. Right at the railway station. Staff are super friendly and helpful.
