957 reviewsWe stopped here for a quick drink after walking the south west coast path from Brownsham to Clovelly on a very cold windy day. As it is out of season only the hotel and the village shop were open and as we were cold we wanted somewhere warm to sit and have a drink. The hotel was closed for annual refurbishments but they keep the bar open for passers by which was much appreciated. The owner was behind the bar and was extremely friendly, making a fuss of our dog and even giving her a free dog treat which should have been £4. It was just us and another couple but the bar was very cosy and the owner clearly very passionate about the estate and local area. Would recommend to anyone looking visiting Clovelly.
