Stoney Bridge Luxury B&B

What a Gem! On first arriving at Stoney Bridge, in Wooden, near Saundersfoot, we were firstly greeted by the lovely Gill, who welcomed us in with a warm smile into the Luxurious House, which was to be our home for the Weekend. We then met Steve the bubbly brummie, who was just as affable as his good lady wife. We were escorted to our George our Sandpiper suite, and no sooner had we unpacked, that we were on our way out to the beautifully sculptured garden, to enjoy our complimentary, homemade, Freshly Baked Scones with Cream and Jam accompanied by a pot of finest Tea. We also had a chance to meet the Beautiful Dixie, the resident, Wired Hair Terrier, who made us feel more than welcome to her home. There were many luxurious and complimentary touches, such as the Homemade, Lemon Biscuits, which my Wife adored (which we had to force Steve to reveal the recipe before we left), in the mini fridge, there was also the Salted Caramel Chocolate from Caerswys which has now become my firm favourite along with a choice of sparkling and still mineral waters, not forgetting of course a great range of Luxury Tea and Coffee at our disposal and all of this was within a Half Hour country lane walk of our favourite happy place, the seaside town of Saundersfoot. Beautiful B&B, Warm, Friendly and Professional Hosts, stunning Breakfasts, and our only regret, is that we we will never experience such affordable luxury ever again, provide by such outstanding hosts, because Gill and Steve are soon to be retiring, oh how we wish we could turn back time and had visited sooner. The hospitality sector will be a cold and lonely place without them. We cannot thank This wonderful couple enough for our stay. We arrived as guests, but left, feeling like old friends.
