The Durdans

Everything about this place oozes class. The hosts were very accommodating, The room was large and overlooked the gardens. The breakfasts were superb.

We were offered Tea and biscuits on arrival in the shared guest lounge. Our room on the first floor was very spacious, with a super king bed and substantial wardrobe space.  Fabulous view from the window overlooking the huge garden.

Breakfasts were fabulous, with fruit & yoghurt, cereals, cooked food too, etc.

TV had multiple channels including Netflix.

What can we say, John and Irene were excellent hosts as was the lovely lady who served breakfast but unfortunately didn't get her name. Their house is beautiful, our room was beautiful. The breakfast was amazing and delicious. A great central location, thank you John and Irene for a lovely stay 😊

Warm, friendly welcoming hosts.  Helpful and friendly staff. Lovely building set in beautiful spacious grounds. Comfortable and well appointed room. Great breakfasts.  Lots of restaurants nearby. Conveniently located.

A few days away in Norfolk and a perfect location for the beach and seeing seals. John and Irene made us feel superbly welcome and we loved the accommodation and breakfast.
Huge beds and a clan bathroom with lots of storage space and parking. Thoroughly recommended 

If you are visiting the north Norfolk coast then The Durdans is the place to stay. Warm, comfortable rooms. Good choice of breakfast ordered the night before. John & Irene make you welcome and go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. Ideal base for visiting Sheringham, Cromer, Bacton and further afield.

We stayed here for 4 nights to celebrate our Golden Wedding. The room we stopped in was The Sunset  which was huge and beautifully  decorated with a lovely view of the garden. The owners John and Irene were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed on a B&B basis and the choice at breakfast was very good and beautifully  cooked. The location is ideal for visiting the area including Cromer and Sheringham overall this was an ideal short break.

We stayed here a year ago and could not wait to return.
John & Irene are amazing hosts and go out of their way to make their guests feel as comfortable as possible.
Everything was perfect, from the welcome coffee and biscuits on arrival to an excellent choice of breakfasts. The house is situated in beautiful grounds which provide a tranquil spot in which to relax.
We shall return.

Just returned home after a lovely, relaxing few days at The Durdans b&b.
John & Irene the owners are excellent hosts nothing is too much trouble for them.
Their b&b is lovely, clean & comfortable. Their breakfast is delicious.

We stayed for 2 nights B&B from 18/07 to 20/07. Durdans is spotless, really nicely furnished, & was very comfortable. Hosts were extremely friendly & helpful throughout

Breakfast was really good, & the Coved19 related processes were thorough & easy to follow

Perfect B&B

Look no further than The Durdans

Just stayed the one night, booking last minute and had the single room. Very clean, lovely view over gardens and a very welcoming hot shower. Very quiet at night too. 
The couple who run the place are very helpful and appear to have all the new regulations in place. 
Had a great full English breakfast in the morning, cooked to order and there was a choice of other options too if you wanted something lighter.
The only slight issues were a very soft bed and it is a 20 mins walk to the beach at Mundesley where the pubs, restaurants etc are and although fine in the day the road back is not well lit at night so you might need a torch. 
Overall a brief but enjoyable stay.

We have been visiting Mundesley for around 20 years to see family / enjoy the coast ..how has it taken so long to find this gem ! The Durdans is just beautiful with great rooms that are clean and beautifully decorated . The welcome from the owners is warm and they know the area well, making great bespoke recommendations The breakfast is amazing with great options.. the smashed avocado and poached eggs with just the right lift from some chilli is wonderful. There is a
lovely view over the garden. We have always stayed in the hotels in the village but this is definitely the best in and we will be regular guests now!  Thoroughly recommended!

Visit to Mundesley 

Last weekend we spent a lovely weekend at the Durdans B &B. On arrival there was a warm welcome and a drink and cake. The room was lovely, large and comfortable. Dishes of chocolates were spread around.

If you like a bath there is a room with a separate bathroom with a large bath.

You choose your breakfast in the evening from a large choice of small and large, hot and cold, vegetarian and meaty. You can set your time. We came as 3 couples and were given our own dinning room.

The lounge is nice, chairs comfy  and the beds soft.

A lovely B&B, where you are made to feel at home.

Spent a smashing couple of days in Norfolk and had the pleasure of staying at the wonderful "Durdans" family run Guesthouse in Mundesley, near Cromer.

A great find, The Durdans is ideally positioned to explore North Norfolk; Cromer and Sheringham being close by, this charming period property is set in lovely gardens with a large private 'off road' driveway and has been furnished to an excellent standard offering a variety of room options at very reasonable prices.

We were made to feel most welcome by Irene and John the proprietors who are genuinely nice people that work hard to make the stay comfortable, relaxing and from our viewpoint just perfect.

Located approximately a mile away from Mundesley sea front The Durdans offers peace, tranquility, clean and well appointed spacious, tasteful rooms along with thoughtful little extra special touches such as the tea/coffee and cakes on arrival, complimentary water bottle, quirky alternative breakfast choices.  Seeing the Muntjac deer in the garden from our bedroom window in the morning was an unexpected bonus!

There are a number of eateries - pubs, hotels etc. within a short distance of The Durdans and Mundesley itself was a real delight, well worth exploring.
