Lovely menu, tasty food.
Efficient friendly staff.
We sat in the restaurant looking over fields at the back.
It was a lovely sunny evening but I imagine it would be cosy in the winter.
We will be back.

The Bay Horse is a hidden gem. We have eaten here a number of times. This pub with a restaurant serves high quality food in a relaxed, comfortable setting. The staff are always welcoming whether you are local or visitors like us. Any dish we have tried has been excellent with the Goosenargh chicken favourite. Filler of beef is expensive (£39) but most dishes are very good value for the quality you get. We always try to eat here if visiting the area.

The food was very very nice, faultless.
Not a huge menu, but that’s often better & definitely was in this case.
We had starters, mains & desserts.
Ambience was lovely & a wood burner was a nice extra.
Staff were all lovely & very attentive.

We were a party of fourteen with ages ranging from 2 to 83 for my parents Diamond Wedding Anniversary. We had completed pre orders and following reception drinks at the bar, we were based in The Hayloft which is a private dining room at the Inn. This had a small outside area which was perfect for the three children to take some playtime between courses. The table was decorated in a lovely manner with apples, conkers, leaves, acorns and candles. 
The menu had been provided by Nicola and the extremely talented chef, Craig. The food was beautifully presented and really special.  A wide selection of dishes from which to choose. I had the smoked salmon then the sea bass, then chocolate delice for dessert. It was one of the best meals I have had and this was reflected around the table. 
We would highly recommend and will return.

What  a find!! Detoured off the M6 for lunch and we are so glad we did. Absolutely delicious food, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff and a very varied (if a little weird) playlist in the background. It is almost worth making a long journey down the M6 just to eat here! Thank you. 

You will not get a better Sunday roast. I can only think think the negative reviews are from Toby carvery enthusiast's that prioritise quantity over quality. 
The beef was cooked pink  and was a sirloin  cut. Service was quality too. 👌

I came here with my brother for lunch to celebrate a long overdue special birthday from January. We booked an outside table in the lovely gardens. Both inside and outside were very covid safe  and tables were well spaced.
The food was excellent with 5 choices for each course and the food mainly locally sourced. The young table staff were efficient, helpful and friendly.
All in all, a lovely experience and a lovely lunch

Just enjoyed a superb Burns Night Supper courtesy of Craig and the team at The Bay Horse Inn. 
As ever, the food was superb, the presentation (even after transferring it to our plates!!) was lovely and the food just delicious.  
We’ve now had several ‘takeaways’ from here since lockdown started and all have been excellent.  We cannot recommend their food highly enough and would urge anyone in the area to try their food for themselves. 
We look forward to more meals from them and hopefully, before too long, to actually eating in their restaurant. 


We dined tonight with our friends and had a starter and main course. The starters of Salmon and Black Pudding were delicious. For mains, there were two chickens and two Sea Bass. Excellent presentation and cooked to perfection.
The young ladies serving us were very attentive and friendly. Covid precautions were well thought out and worked well. A very enjoyable evening

A friend and I went for dinner last night, we sat in the gardens watching the sun set over the fields. It was such a lovely setting. 
The two girls who were serving us were very attentive and I cannot fault a thing. It was all very fast service and they were so friendly.
We will definitely be returning!
