Great property super location. Incredibly clean with everything you needed. Bedding super clean with beautiful Dorma sheets. Only slight negative incredibly bad wifi which was not good with 3 teenagers! Would highly recommend this house to anyone.

Great location, super clean and highly recommend

We have just returned from a week self catering in 'Lazy  Days' booked through Blue river Cottages. We have an annual week away with children/grandchildren, and 'Lazy Days' is one of the best properties we have stayed in. Being an ex B&B all rooms have access to their own shower/bath, and there is a very comfortable lounge and dining room. The house is equipped with everything you might need, and has a small but pleasant garden at the rear with a table for outside dining and a good barbecue.
The house is fine for just adults but it's perfect for families with children being 5 minutes walk from the beach, shops and other typical seaside amenities.
If there is a downside it is that there is only space for 2 cars off road, but instructions are provided as to where you can park and there is street parking opposite the property.
We were the first occupants following the reopening. Unfortunately a lot of the toys/games were removed due to Covid Rules, but the owners were very thoughtful and provided plenty of beach items, books/crayons for the kids - along with scones/jam/butter/cream on arrival. Details were provided on cleaning regimes etc
My daughter had made direct contact with the owner, who previously ran the property as a B&B, and she was most helpful. Obviously very keen to ensure anyone staying there had a good time.
We were very lucky with the weather during our week so were able to eat outside in pub gardens most of the time. No doubt if you were confined to the property or just wanted to dine in you would have all the equipment you needed.
The property is also only a few minutes walk from Dartmouth Steam Railway and the bus station.

Great Seaside Self Catering

We enjoyed a lovely family weekend away here - 12 adults and 1 baby.
It has recently been converted from a B&B to a self catering property.
It had everything you could ask for, including 2 dishwashers and 2 washing machines!
The accommodation was spotless and all the bedrooms were lovely.
The kitchen was really well-equipped - so many glasses, plates, dishes etc.
The location is great - less than a 5-minute walk to the front.
Would definitely recommend for a group holiday.

Such a lovely house

We stayed for 4 nights in the twin room ‘Greenway’ and we were delighted with our stay. Our room was beautifully clean and well-appointed, with a great en-suite shower room.

Don’t worry, if you leave your reading glasses at home, there will be a set in your room, along with cotton buds, tissues and good quality toiletries. 
Your bed will be very comfortable, with lovely pure cotton bedding.

The pièce de résistance is breakfast, cooked by Irene, and served by your genial host Peter (AKA Manuel). There is a lovely choice of fresh fruit and yoghurt, cereals etc, followed by a good variety of cooked items. We have never eaten such a tasty breakfast, and it was something to really look forward to every morning.

I must mention that guests also have a Galley kitchen facility of their own, and can borrow cutlery, glasses and plates to eat their own food, there’s also a table and chairs which is a great idea if you want to bring a takeaway meal back. There is a fridge in the Galley kitchen, and cupboard space for each guest room. 

Peter is very good at recommending places to visit and things to do in the area, and Paignton is blessed with having a rail link to Exeter, Torquay, Teignmouth, Dawlish etc, as well as the brilliant day out on the Round Robin trip.

Hurry up and book your stay with Peter and Irene, you won’t regret it!

SIMPLY THE BEST B&B IN PAIGNTON!

Stayed here overnight at the end of July after driving down to see family. The twin room we had was massive, clean and the beds were so comfy. Peter and Irene are lovely and make you feel so welcome. The breakfast was amazing! Would defiantly recommend

I cannot express how truly lovely our stay was at lazy days. Brill location, spotlessly clean and the owners were wonderful nothing too much trouble best place I’ve stayed for a long time cannot fault

Weekend getaway

very pleased with choosing lazy days for our over night stay in Paignton.close to town centre and beach.peter and irene are pleasant and friendly hosts.clean and well appointed room.well cooked breakfast.we would book again without hesitation when in the area again.

When travelling the highways and byways if this world ,one never knows what to expect with over night accomodation . In this case it was a TOP class experience in everyway . A welcome from the owners that was friendly & helpful in everyway. The decor and cleanliness was immaculate and the room was spotless and welcoming . There was tea coffee and local biscuits as well. Breakfast area was airy and clean and the breakfast was cooked and presented as one would want. Many places it gets slopped on a plate floating on grease. Not here. Here it was exactly as one would present it to oneself. Absolutely top in everyway
