We are staying here at the moment, we received a very warm welcome and we’re shown to our room which is well decorated and well furnished and quite comfortable. We are in the restaurant this evening and had a very nice meal with excellent service.  This was a stop over for our journey from wales to Southampton. I would definitely stop here again if cruising from Southampton.

A great stopover

The welcome from staff was very friendly and pleasant.
The room was comfortable enough although the bed was too soft but that is just a personal preference. The room was very hot and stuffy due to the weather but a fan was supplied. 
There was no fridge to keep milk etc  and there is no safe.
There unfortunately was no top up  of the wee milk cartons on the second and were only given a small jug of fresh milk each time we asked. 
The food in the restaurant is really nice and we would recommend the calamari, it is fantastic.


Good for a couple of nights stay

Awesome room and bed really comfortable.  Tea and coffee in room and toiletries.  The towels were the best EVER!  Really big and fluffy.
The food in the restaurant was good but I would have liked a little more choice.
I was disappointed in the breakfast in that they don't serve it until 8:30 am which for me, as I stayed there for work, wasn't good.  I had to pick up some on the way to work.

Would definitely stay here again just not for work.

Pleasant enough but could do with a couple of tweaks.  Check in we could have done with more information for example there is no evening meal on a sunday and the breakfast information so was slow to unravel.   The room and bathroom was spacious and dogs are welcome without an additional charge.  However we could have done with locating a poo bin.  The food was nice with sensible portions.  Some more local info would have been useful.  However staff were friendly with quick service maybe with a little more experience it will be a lovely place to stay.

Nearly there

Super food in a newly refurbed country pub with a couple of hotel rooms. The food was really first class and despite how busy they were the kitchen and front of house did a fabulous job. also very very pet friendly.

I had pheasant whilst the others had burgers - all were tasty and very welcome!The rooms were clean and comfortable, with good en suite facilities.Full English breakfasts were much appreciated.We recommend the whole experience and wish the new proprietors every success.

Foxham is very separate from Chippenham but wish we had more time to explore!
The Maud Heath Causeway in Kellaways is well worth investigating.
We recommend the whole experience and wish the new proprietors every success.

Lovely Location!

Lovely stay, made to feel very welcome. Room was spacious, immaculate, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was good and cooked to order for us. We had a delicious meal in the pub's restaurant. Would happily book again.

Charming family run business

Excellent little place to stay, lovely room with great facilities. Best night sleep i have had for a while. Bar and restaurant spotless and food was exceptional. Defo stay again.
