We were greeted by John, the owner, who was very friendly and welcoming. Our twin room and en suite was clean and had everything we needed. Despite being on a main road we did not hear the traffic. The breakfast which was delivered to our room each morning was lovely and just what we wanted. It is in a good position to explore the area and a John was helpful with suggestions of walks etc. He even lent us his OS map. We have no complaints and hopefully will return next year for a visit.
