Another great stay at Kinloch. We visit every year and are assured of a warm welcome, good food and peace and quiet. Paul is quietly efficient and seems to materialise whenever you start to think you might need something. Discrete, non-stuffy service with a relaxed atmosphere. Always feel recharged when we leave.

After many road closures (which I ignored) we arrived at Kinloch House and were instantly welcomed, booked in and shown to our room. From then on it was a dream, with a comfortable bed, fantastic food, both dinner and breakfast, with one exception, (the black pudding was to spicy).  The hotel is well appointed and our suite overlooked the grounds with two lovely highland cattle and two lovely horses always in view. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. We met some lovely guests there which was a delight. The owners mother is a STAR.  Highly Recommended.

We were upgraded to the Mabel Suite, a stunning room in the turret, which felt straight out of a fairytale. The property is lovely, with Highland cows, a horse, and a few adorable dogs. Beautiful setting, attentive service, and a truly memorable stay.

What a privilege to stay in such a beautiful house. We needed a couple of nights away to recharge our batteries and Kinloch House lived up to our our expectations. We loved sitting by the open fires enjoying a well deserved drink after a day in the cold, fresh air. 
Dinner was exceptional both nights with everything cooked to absolute perfection. The breakfast was also very tasty and set us up for the day. 
What makes the stay special is the level of service.  Paul is a master at making you feel at ease and relaxed in a wonderful environment. 
We will definitely be back.

A lovely hotel ,beautiful  views, friendly staff  and a great dinner menu which changed daily.Highly recommended Rooms on ground floor, 16 ,had an excellent walk in shower with lovely toiletries. A fan was needed as so warm and one was provided

We recently enjoyed a delightful stay an our way up to the highlands. Country house hotels when they are run well are like a capsule in time for all the right reasons. We had a beautiful room and exceptionally appointed bathroom. Both the dinner and breakfast were of very high quality and the attention to detail was evident in both meals. Although our stay was short we will look forward very much to returning.

A really lovely experience. This is our favourite hotel in Scotland. The setting , comfort , friendly owners and staff , quality food and high standards are a joy. You really feel like it is your home and manor whilst you are there. They should call it the Kinloch “ Home “ Hotel. 

We spent two nights with breakfast and dinner at the end of November 2022.  It was a quiet period, as you might expect, but that's exactly what we were looking for.
The bedroom was very comfortable.  The shower room was outstanding.  While the outside temperatures were what you would expect for the time of year, the room was very warm.  In fact on day two, I turned down the thermostatic valves on the radiators for comfort.  This was a nice option to have compared to feeling cold with no way to turn up the heat.
The meals were excellent, and there is a huge wine list to suit all tastes.  The service in the bar, restaurant and hotel generally was friendly, and overall we were treated as valued guests.  This was our first visit to Kinloch House and we intend to visit again sometime soon.

Outstanding personal service from the staff, with excellent cuisine. Traditional in style, warm comfortable and friendly. The property is in a very pleasant location with easy parking and access to local attractions.

The standard of the accommodation at this hotel and quality of food served in the restaurant has been maintained over decades under the management of Paul . His staff are totally professional and courteous which for decades remains consistent . This is almost impossible to find at any other similar venue in Scotland .

Kinloch House provides that sort of refined, traditional experience that is very hard to find in an increasingly commercial world. The building itself is beautifully presented with many unique features, and the staff strive to ensure your every wish is privided for in a friendly and efficient manner. It would be a compliment to suggest this is a step back in time to a world where hospitality is given in a polite yet friendly way as befits this old estate.

A traditional, quality stay

Fabulous hotel, in a magnificent setting and staff with total attention to detail that ensures you enjoy the best stay ever! Our room was clean and very comfortable with every amenity of the highest quality. The common rooms and bar area were luxurious in decor and featured amazing porcelain sets. The restaurant area provided well spaced tables and adequate staff to serve top quality meals from an ever changing menu. Good wines as well!
