Anabelle's Guest House

The guest house is located in the center of town, making it easy to find. It is also close to the central train station, bus station, fast food restaurants, tourist attractions, and shopping areas are nearby within walking. This convenient location makes traveling to nearby cities even easier.

My son and I enjoyed our state and I would really.

I truly enjoyed my stay! My room was comfortable and clean and the Guesthouse was centrally located. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

Very friendly and helpfull staff and a free breakfast.

5 min walk from Bath Abbey and The Roman Baths. Manager was very friendly and knowledgeable on places to eat etc. Longstay car park almost opposite too.

Annabelle’s house was comfortable and in a great location. My room was clean and beds were comfortable. Very close to the train station and all the stores. On the weekends it is loud at night due to noise from the bar that is on the same street. But overall I really didn’t have any trouble sleeping and I appreciated the free breakfast!

Very convenient to train station  tourist sites  and restaurants.  The stairs were difficult for us.

This is a Guest House and doesn't have a monitored reception desk. However staff are available upon arrival. I booked a double room with bathroom. The bed and pillows were comfortable and decent towels provided. Breakfast is included and was  continental style and perfectly acceptable for  this guest house. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I ended up spending extea time in the room due to the weather and felt very cosy. Thoroughly recommend and I would stay here again.

Sergio was very kind and listened to our questions. It was a pleasure to meet him and talk with him. I recommend it because your experience will be much warming here than inside a classic hotel. Also it’s in the center so everything is accessible without using the transport.

Annabelle's Guest House had all the basics covered nicely: A helpful host, breakfast each morning, cleanliness, a comfortable bed, and the rooms were cosy which was nice to return to after after a cold rainy day. Note it is a share house, not a hotel so there are less amenities available. I'd recommend staying during the weekdays when it's generally less busy both in the town and at this property. You'll have a more comfortable stay. During the weekend the property was almost full, which changes the experience as it's a fairly small property which means you can hear the noise from other floors and you have to wait for the shared spaces. The streets are also much noisier come the weekends and the noise travels through. Most rooms share bathrooms one between two rooms. Best things:- Unbeatable location right in the centre of town. - Friendly host- Nice breakfast of yoghurts, cereals, fruit and toast (but note, it is meat-free)- CleanCould be better:- Noise levels/sound proofing- Relatively basic rooms - No desk or working space (at least in the twin room)- A bit stuffy and the only way to ventilate was to open the window and curtains which let in a lot of street noise and reduced privacy.- No easy parking (Bath central is generally not parking friendly so avoid bringing a car! Street parking is very rare and there are private carparks but they charge steep fees)Good for a relatively affordable, short stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed the 3 day holiday in Bath. The accommodation was very good. Manager Sergio was very friendly and accommodating.  He gave great attention to our stay. He also gave very good information re sightseeting and directions to those sites. Weather was warm and sunny, people in Bath were very friendly in the restaurants and retail outlets

Three day trip to Bath.

We stayed 5 days at Anabelles Guest house. The heart and soul of Anabelles really is Sergio who manages the guest house. As much as we enjoyed Bath we enjoyed chatting each morning with Sergio! He was filled with good advice and conversation about the city. Morning breakfast were very good! We were able to use the common area even in the afternoon to have a sandwich from the outside. There was a bit of noise from pub next door but as everyone mentions, this was made clear to us before we booked and when we arrived! Weekends have your ear plugs and weekdays it was nice and quite! We would not have a issue stayed here again! Sergio we thank you for being the best host and for your hospitality each morning and evening!

Firstly let me say that i would stay again, i read the reviews and knew that there maybe some noise but i didn't expect it on a Monday night. The hotel is fine, everything you need and Sergio is fantastic.  The building next door is a bar that was closed at 8pm when i went out for dinner but buzzing with students at 11.30pm when i got back and the noise was audible in my room. I managed to get to sleep after a while but could be an issue for light sleepers.

Nice place but a little noisy late at night

The room was smaller but just right size for me and  my traveling companion. It was clean the bed was very comfortable and our bathroom was very nice be nice. But much much more than all of this was how kind the staff was. They were always making sure we had everything we needed and were very congenial and sincere when they talked to you.  They're breakfast selection was very scrumptious and we always got offered warm croissants in the morning. All in all a very lovely stay God really blessed us with allowingce to find this spot to stay in bath. A very God-given blessing also was that it is very close to the Roman baths and bath center.

Sergio, the manager was excellent. Friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was quite good. The facilities and room were basic but clean. The noise of the bar next door is barely audible as other people mention but it was not that bad. However, the internal walls and floors are super thin and could hear other people talking even when they were not shouting which gave us great difficulty trying to sleep one night. The bed mattress was soft.

A charming guest house where I stayed 3 nights and was made to feel very welcome. Sergio greeted and looked after me very well and went the extra mile, for example to get me some decaf coffee for my room. It was lovely to come and go as I pleased and to be able to leave my suitcase after checkout until it was time for my train.  The location is amazing, under 5 minutes level walk from the train station and under 10 minutes to the Abbey and main attractions. Around the corner is a smart new shopping centre that blends in well with the Georgian stone style of the city. There was a bit of noise from the nightclub next door on my first night (a Monday) but to be fair Sergio did warn me about this. The other nights were quiet. My small double room was comfortable with a fabulous high ceiling, heaps of storage and a tiny but very smart ensuite with a good shower. Breakfast was simple with delicious pain au chocolat offered each day. To just push the whole experience up to fabulous, it would have been great to find a small bottle of water in my room on arrival, plus decaf coffee and herb/fruit tea sachets.

Brilliant location and very friendly host

Anabelle's Guest House was in a perfect location just a couple of mins walk from the station and city centre. Sergio who ran the guest house couldn't have been more helpful and made the stay even more enjoyable. Everything was clean and tidy and bed was very comfortable.Would definitely come back and stay there again.
