Great stay, slightly odd going to a building around the corner for our room! Room was well decorated and cozy, top floor so up 3 flights of stairs! Loved the book swap idea in the stairwell

Great location right in the heart of Bath, minutes away from great cafes, restaurants, shops and The Roman Baths. Very welcoming, friendly staff and our room was extremely lovely, clean and spacious. We loved the honesty bar which was open until 11.30 and was very well stocked! We will definitely book again if we return to Bath.

Great and very lovely central place to stay close to many restaurants and bars but still quiet. Not the cheapest trip we have had but still a lovely break

Everything was perfect.  Super close to town.  Did not know we needed to walk up 4 flights of stairs.   No lift.

What a beautiful place! We had the most wonderful stay here.It was the perfect location,food was lovely,amazing helpful staff.Look forward to visiting here again

Fabulous double room with gorgeous free standing bath & tv rising from the foot of the bed. Comfortable bed, squeaky clean bathroom. Big wardrobe with loose hangers (!!) Excellent staff. Didn’t eat in except for good full English with charming service. Central position is perfect for strolling around the central area & all the shops!

Parking situation and check in not ideal if you are arriving after 6pm but room was lovely and staff was helpful. Location was a perk

Lovely stay at Eight. No fault of the hotel but it is very noisy at night. Saturday night students were in the streets until early hours. Sea gulls are very loud in the early hours of the morning. On Monday morning a bin truck came at around 6am and empty thousands of glass bottles from the bottle bank. The location of the hotel is very central and perfect for all the sights in the city, but you will not have a peaceful nights sleep.

Lovely location, but not quiet

Great Location right in the heart of Bath

Everything was almost perfect, location, room clean and well equipped and kind and attentive personnel. Only downside was is the noise from outside and also internal walls are thin so You can hear your neighbours and day and night (ear plugs provided but still can hear loud people throughthe wall). No parking which is obvious due to location and breakfast is 20£ pp

Good well located hotel but noisy

The hotel has a fantastic location right in the centre of the city, ideal for visiting Bath. The staff were all friendly and welcoming too. The room was a Superior Double and was fairly spacious and comfortable. However it was noisy, both from the room upstairs (sounded like someone was moving house!) and drunk people leaving bars, which went on until gone 3am. With some better sound proofing the hotel would be ideal!

Lovely but noise spoiled it

Delightful & in the heart of everything.

We had a lovely stay at Eight! It’s a great location and a cool little hotel. However, we were a bit disappointed when the restaurant couldn’t accommodate our party of five for breakfast, insisting on splitting us up even though the restaurant was all but empty. This felt especially surprising after hearing repeatedly how fantastic the breakfast was. Aside from that, it was a pleasant stay.

Lovely Stay, but Breakfast Letdown

Beautiful and cozy place in the best part of Bath with the Roman Baths a few minutes away by foot and lots of nice restaurants in the area. No traffic so very quiet. There are no elevator but the staff helped me both up and down with my heavy suitcase, they were generally very friendly and serviceminded. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back if I ever go to Bath again.

The hotel is right in the centre of bath which makes it a perfect location for exploring all the sights, shops, bars and restaurants wonderful Bath has to offer.The service when we arrived was fantastic and we were very lucky to be treated to an upgrade to our lovely room, spotlessly clean with beautiful decor and some lovely finishing touches. We loved our stay at Eight

Beautiful Bath at Christmas

A lovely, charming and quaint hotel located in an old historic townhouse. An excellent location in the city centre to explore Bath. The staff were fantastic - extremely friendly and could not not be more accommodating. Our family room was lovely and comfortable and the housekeeping staff do an excellent job. I highly recommend this hotel as a wonderful place to stay in Bath.

Excellent stay, staff welcoming, friendly and efficient. Hotel spotless, daily room servicing spot on. Food very high standard with quality products throughout. Covid safety measures and overall safety of rooms and building excellent. My husband and I would definitely stay here again without reservation.
