Probably the best B&B we have ever stayed in! The building is lovely, the place is spotlessly clean, owners are so so friendly and accommodating, room sizes are good as are the en-suites. Breakfast was beautiful too. I can't rate Milton House highly enough, I can't believe what we got for the price of the room. We will definitely be back.

We recently stayed here for 2 nights, we had a lovely time. Room was very clean and had everything we needed, great value for money. The traditional English breakfast was very nice. Great location about a 15 minute walk downhill to centre. Gibson and Blessing were lovely hosts, and we would definitely stay again.

First week of December for the Xmas market. We had booked later this year and had to walk a little further into town, but we had fun on the cheap buses £1.20 from outside the door till late at night.. Room was spotless, nothing was too much trouble, even the use of dining room for takeaways. Shower great and once again spotless. A surprise on return each day to find clothes folded and neat, their cleaner deserves added praise. Lovely breakfast. Would happily stay again. Parking by EPermit no problem.

Our 1st impression was how impeccably clean the premises was and met by Blessing, the owner, who was very pleasant, hospitable and accommodating. Our en suite room was very spacious, warm and comfortable. The full English breakfast, was cooked to perfection and a very large portion, along with help yourself to the cereal bar. I can't fault this B & B and thought the value for money was exceptional. I would definitely return to this accommodation. The only thing which is a downside is the trek into Bath central if you have limited mobility. However the bus route is within 100mtrs of the location, which was easy for us to use.

This B & B does everything right. Gibson, the owner, greeted us warmly and helped us with our luggage. We had a very comfortable room, which included all the amenities. Breakfasts were very good, including a big bowl of delicious fresh fruit on the buffet. Everything was immaculately clean. Would highly recommend.

Booked a two night stay and this gem was only a lovely 10 minute walk from the town centre with free parking and a lovely breakfast plus a charming couple to welcome you the room was all you needed for a place to rest and  it was spotlessly clean and fresh and the bed was comfortable plus wi fi was available if needed and if we were to return to bath then Milton house will be our destination again

We stayed here for a weekend - the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were spotlessly clean and beds very comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and served in a lovely dining room. We would definately stay here again, and strongly recommend it.

Exactly what I was looking for! The owners and cleaning lady were so welcoming and nice. Due to a delay at the airport I arrived a good hour after the check-in time, but there weren't any grumbles, just smiles when I knocked on the door.
The Beau Nash room is facing the garden so it's a lot quieter than the ones facing the street.
Will definately use this place again when I come back sometime.

Just got back from a weekend break in Bath at Milton house for my husbands birthday.
We had a lovely welcome from Blessing who showed us to our room, which was very nice with en suite with a shower. It had a double bed, Which was very comfortable.  it looked over the main road but the traffic didn't disturb us There were tea /coffee facilities in the room. a hair dryer and a safe. ( some hotels do not even offer these) . In the en suite there were good towels, shower and hair wash, cotton wool and ear buds, a very nice touch.
 The whole property was spotlessly clean and pleasantly furnished. There were lots of information leaflets on things to see and do in Bath and a Folder in the room with info.
Our television wasn't working, we mentioned this to Blossom on our way out and when we got back a few hours later it had been fixed.
 Breakfast was very good, with a choice of fruit, juices and cereals to start. then  you can choose between full English or veg cooked breakfast. This you have to do the night before but that wasn't a problem.
 I must say the breakfast was very well cooked and piping hot !!
 There's very good public transport into the town centre or a 15 min walk if you prefer. Lots to do and see in Bath.
 All in all a very good weekend.

10-15 mins walk uphill from Bath centre but worth every step, the property is well loved and kept by the hosts Gibson and Blessing who provide a wonderful and comfortable stay.  The breakfast is amazing too.  On street parking, bus stop outside the property to/from the town for those who prefer not to walk.  Definitely a property worth recommending.

Excellent B & B. Amazing value for money.

We stayed for 2 nights. The couple who run this are absolutely lovely, extremely welcoming, very sweet and very kind. The breakfast is amazing, cooked perfectly and a great starter to the day as well as being very good quality and served with a smile. We stayed in the beau Nash room. 
Just a side note for those with lots of luggage or of a larger stature, book one of the other rooms as bathroom and area around the bed is very small. Absolutely fine for a couple for 2 days like we had.
It’s a walk into bath centre and up hill on the way back. This didn’t bother us but for those that don’t want to walk there are plenty of buses from outside the b&b and there’s a lovely pub close by and a few nice restaurants within a couple of minutes walk if you couldn’t be bothered going to Bath. We made the walk though. Parking is easy, outside and free. The whole place was EXTREMELY clean. After reading previous reviewers of Milton House’s cleanliness I looked out for it. And I couldn’t find even a speck of dust anywhere.
Only thing I will say, is the decor is dated. It would be nice to be modernised a bit. Lick of white paint maybe and some updating. That’s being picky though.

Lovely break in Bath at Milton House

Booked Milton House for a birthday weekend away. We were in the small double room, which was smaller than we imagined, and there's a significant hill if you want to walk into town. As long as you're ok with those two things, it's ideal. Gibson and Blessing are the nicest hosts, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is excellent. 

It's really close to the centre, about 10-15 minute walk, and there's a superb pub, The Bear, just down the road. 

All in all, we thought it was brilliant.
