The manger Scott was really lovely & very helpful. The staff are very lovely & kind . They all made our long stay very pleasant very comfortable & was very helpful & understanding as we have an autistic child & a baby. I would highly recommend stay here . - The Williams

A great place to stay with friendly staff. It's easy to get to and has easy connections into central Manchester. The room was clean and tidy and had everything you would expect. It has local facilities near by like places to eat and is near the tram station.

Nice clean room and bathroom, lovely and quiet with a pub that serves food within walking distance. For me the bed was too firm but that's a personal choice, my husband found his comfortable. Would book here again.

The Staff are happy & helpful. The hotel was fabulously clean everywhere.
Due to location getting out & about was easy too with a tram stop just down the road. Great pub next door too for both breakfast & evening meals. 

We booked an accessible room as my wife has mobility issues and arrived on the Sunday evening. A problem with the online booking meant our room had not been reserved, But Ann, who was working on reception went out of her way to make sure we were OK. After helping us to rebook the room, she ensured we were safe and comfortable, and that the room was in good order.
Nice to be made so welcome, and to get immediate help when needed. We look forward to returning.

Excellent stay meet with a t reception by Anne who was wonderful and friendly helped us with everything we needed and had a lovely friendly and warm welcome … she gave us lots of advise on the area teams and pub next door.. excellent 

Anna was the best person ever she looked aftered us and made us feel so welcome. May God bless her and hope she gets a raise. Honestly the nicest person ever to us and did everything to make us feel comfortable

Warm and comfortable, bed was nice and firm with comfortable cushions. Room was clean, warm with facility to make hot drinks. Good selection of coffee and tea. Relaxing with plenty of free parking, close to retail park and motorways.

Great clean room. Welldone to Joanne our room cleaner. Also free parking which is what we were looking for.  Only 15min from the city centre which 
is very convenient.  Definately recommended for anyone who wants an affordable stay.

You get what you pay for. 
The location is good for transport into Ashton and Manchester, and the pub next door offers great food.
I want to commend the staff for their efforts in making guests feel welcome and comfortable. They were polite, attentive, and did their best to provide a positive experience. However, it’s important to mention that the hotel is accommodating homeless individuals, which, while a commendable initiative, does create occasional disturbances.


Value for money

Prompt and friendly welcome at reception. 
Got to room, and found it clean and tidy - some furniture could benefit from update, but I understand there is a renovation programme going on.
Shower room was good, with convenient grab rail, but shower cubicle could benefit from anti-slip mat.
As with other Travelodge, there is no eatery, but there are vending machines in foyer, and it is located next door to Sheldon Arms, with a good bar, food and carvery.
The hotel is well located, next to major roads and Metrolink, with a spacious car park, but sound insulation was very good and we didn't hear any external sounds.
They offer boxed breakfasts, but by spending slightly more, I would recommend nipping next door to the Sheldon Arms for a well priced and very well stocked breakfast carvery, with a friendly welcome.

Good location - clean and reliable

Due to a fire at home I was given accommodation with my dog "pedro" since 04.01 24.  All staff are welcoming, Pedro would want me to say especially "Jonathan".  Rooms are clean, lovely pillows, plenty of tea/coffee,  room is lovely and warm, comfy bed and nice thick towels. Plenty of hangers and shelving.  Although no restaurant serving a hot breakfast there is a breakfast box, handy if youve got early start and can take it with you. There are many eateries, in walking distance, a great pub carvery I would also recommend.  Location is great for motorway networks, local transport into Manchester centre is about 5 miles away.  On site parking, only thing I would say about that are quite narrow space markings, but it is free.

Extremely Helpful Staff

An ideal location for getting the tram to Co-Op Live, with the tram stop just a stone's throw away from the hotel. Also, there's a good pub right next door serving good food and drink. The hotel itself is comfortable and clean with friendly staff. Recommended.
