Beautiful cottage B and B. Warm cosy welcome with wood burner lit and waiting for us after a long day travelling. Lana was a fantastic host and provided a hearty breakfast and great local knowledge. Scenery surrounding the area was breathtaking and plenty to see and do. Highly recommend.

Stopped here for two nights mid July the location was pretty much where I wanted in that I wanted somewhere with dark skies (for night photography) and within reasonable travel distance of The Lakes.
From arriving a note telling us to make ourselves welcome as the land lady was out at the time to leaving on the 2nd morning was an absolute pleasure, no extra charge for bringing our dog was a bonus and Millie (the dog) made herself at home instantly.
The room and bathroom were spanking clean and tidy the other rooms equally so but the icing on the cake was the breakfast ready prompt and very much top shelf material.
I'm not sure what I can add, other than I would recommend Eastview B&B to anyone in a heartbeat, we have every intention of returning at some point in the future.
I suppose I should also add something of the Village, it's quiet VERY quiet unfortunately the local pub was still closed not that this bothered us we were just as happy to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of a lovely little village and the walks around it even tho the weather wasn't great during out visit.

Located in a beautiful little village, it was very inviting, warm and cosy with a comfy bed and good quality bedding. Also a nice lounge to sit in and a small area out front where we could sit out and enjoy a glass of wine whilst chatting to people passing. There was also a very good information book she had to tell us about the area and town.And it was a super breakfast, one of the best Ive ever eaten. Def recommend.

In the countryside away from hustle and bustle of a town.

What a delight after a long day on the saddle! We have been riding the C2C. The run down in to Garrigil is gorgeous. We arrived to such a warm welcome, somewhere to put our bikes and lovely rooms. We had read that we could have supper here and did so with deep enjoyment! Delicious beef and dumplings and chicken stew topped off with warm chocolate fudge cake. Beds were very comfortable, excellent shower and a super breakfast next morning! Thank you!

An exceptional B&B in a small village in the North Pennines AONB.  We stayed here recently on a driving holiday in the UK.  On arrival we were met by the host and shown around the property.  There is a large family lounge with a wood burner stove made available to guests. This makes it like a home away from home.  We were also given the option of a home cooked meal because the local pub is closed. The meal provided was delicious.  Breakfast was also delicious and plentiful.  The room was quite spacious and the bed very comfortable.  This was probably the best B&B we have stayed in and I would recommend it without hesitation.

Amazing B&B

Two couples, we stayed one night whilst on a cycling holiday (C2C). East View gets everything right. Very cosy and comfortable. Set in a tranquil location. Good, secure cycle storage. A friendly welcome. Very helpful hosts. (They recommended local places to eat and gave us taxi contact details prior to our stay. Very thoughtful). Lovely rooms, with lots of extras,  all very much appreciated, from in room fridges with cold milk and water to fluffy robes and lovely toiletries. Superb and delicious breakfast. We'd definitely recommend you stay here.

Wonderful 2 night stay here. Hosts are very accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. Everywhere is clean and the room we had was very comfortable. Because of its location mobile phone signal can be challenging however  they have Wi-Fi which helps you piggyback mobile phone signal to. A choice of breakfasts and times of breakfast is available. A wonderful stay

Eastview B&B

Everything was just excellent. This is a beautiful, cosy cottage where apart from your spacious bedroom with good views you also have full access to a lounge downstairs with tv and fire. The local pub has closed indefinitely but you can pre-order an evening meal which was very tasty and dessert also, my chocolate fudge cake was big, the dining area very cosy with fire also. I chose a packed lunch rather than breakfast for my early trek up Cross Fell, thanks Lana.

Great accomodation whilst walking the Pennine Way

We were welcomed with a personal letter from Lana, telling us to make ourselves at home, in her absence-which we did by settling in the very comfortable lounge with a very good choice of books to read.
Garrigill is a charming village, currently with an empty Pub so, if you're looking to go into the licensed trade, it's very well worth looking if it's up for sale! As to Eastview, I loved its elegant furnishings and decorations- and our very comfortable room. Breakfast was superb-both in  quality and presentation. Well recommended!

A Homey and Elegant Haven

Me and a few friends did the Coast to Coast cycle route over a weekend and for two of us the Eastview was our half way stop off. This beautiful country house was absolutely amazing and very comfortable to rest our legs after a long days ride. The breakfast the next day was also very good and was more than enough to fuel us for the second stage of our ride. I highly recommend this lovely house to stay at and i will be revisiting again soon.

Halfway stop off for Coast-to-Coast cycle

This b&b is right on the Pennine Way so perfect for walkers. Lana makes you feel very welcome and goes out of her way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately the village pub is currently closed however despite her working that evening Lana left a delicious supper for us. My room was extremely comfortable with all those little extras that make such a difference to your stay. A delicious breakfast in the morning rounded off a delightful experience
