Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort

Had a Great experience at the Sheraton although the property feels a little bit old, rooms comfortable but the staff was fantastic. I had lounge access which was great even though its quite small but it didnt seem overcrowded and you get a nice view from the top. First off a big mention to individual staff such as Jimee who brought our bags to the room and even went a walked down the round to flag us a taxi down the street since there was not many around this day such a lovely person and has been there years, done everything. Also a big mention to the cleaners Tharus I believe or Thavun sorry if I have your name spelt wrong, he was so accommodating with water tea etc as we didn't want our room cleaned as to help preserve the environment as had plenty of towels etc really friendly lovely person nothing too much trouble. Finally a big shout out to the Club Lounge staff inc Logie Michel as the food was lovely and we didn't need to eat out at all, as some hot food was available for the Hors d'oeuvres & drinks laid on in the evening which was nice surprise. Breakfast was good downstairs also with a variety of choice, and bigger if wanted. The Club Lounge tho went above and beyond as I wasn't expecting this particular thing as they had some section of cheeses and no biscuits and what I thought was a chutney was marmalade and a jam which being British found unusual. I had a discussion with the staff saying about this and what culture has this. Anyway unknown to my surprise the next day a chef and his assistance came up to me, at first me and my mate thought they was getting people to sample some food but it wasn't. The chef had made some onion chutney which was delicious on a plate with some crackers etc which I was blown away by as I was rather full I told the staff to save it and I will have it later in the evening but instead of giving me my left overs so to speak, they gave me a fresh dish of chutney and biscuits.... I was not expecting this at all and has never happened before so a big thank you to the staff and chef. Location of the Hotel is in a good location, near the beach and Blu waters within walking distance to bars and restaurants if needed being in Jeremiah Beach Resort. The pool had plenty of sun beds and trolleys although some need replacing as to being old and the building work didn't disturb as they are doing some grounds for a new grass area I assume. Room was nice etc as I said the staff make this place even though some spots need updating we had a great stay.
