This is a Fantastic Hotel right near to Taksim square. The breakfast buffet was always freshly prepared and with many options including freshly cooked omelettes. I loved the honeycomb and simit. The restaurant was very well managed and there’s always someone to help you from the friendly and polite staff. Nice to see that families are well cared for but an over 16’s seating area would make the experience more relaxed for older guests. Room service was good but more expensive than Elite hotels. The complimentary water was appreciated. The deluxe room was beautifully clean and spacious. The housekeeping took very good care of us especially Merel who was our favourite person. There is a panoramic view of the city from the roof top accessed via the spa staircase. The reception desk was very welcoming and helpful especially Omer who explained everything well. The only thing I would improve are the TV apps (to include Netflix too) as we couldn’t connect it to YouTube via Bluetooth or screen share. I chose Barcelo from past experience and because the beds are always very comfortable. The standard of service is well worth the 5 stars. Thank you to everyone at Barcelo for a wonderful stay.
